The Ghana chapter of the JETOUR Africa Expedition 2026 has combined automotive exploration, tourism and cultural engagement, with a convoy led by Dr Abdallah Farhat travelling through Accra towards Aburi and Safari Valley.

The expedition, organised under the global theme “Beyond Roads, Beyond Borders,” featured Dr Abdallah Farhat, owner of JETOUR Ghana and owner, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Group Ltd.

The journey aimed to showcase the versatility, comfort and off-road engineering of JETOUR SUVs while giving participants an opportunity to experience different destinations and engage with Ghana’s cultural heritage.

The programme included a ceremonial stop at Black Star Square in Accra before the convoy continued towards Aburi and Safari Valley.

From Accra to Aburi and Safari Valley

The expedition began in Accra, where the convoy travelled through parts of the capital before proceeding to other destinations.

The stop at Black Star Square, also known as Independence Square, connected the tour with one of Ghana’s prominent national landmarks.

The convoy subsequently travelled towards Aburi and Safari Valley, providing an opportunity to experience the vehicles in different driving environments.

According to the organisers, the expedition highlighted vehicle endurance, passenger comfort and off-road engineering as key elements of the driving experience.

The route brought together urban driving and travel outside the capital, reflecting the expedition’s focus on mobility and exploration.

The initiative also provided a platform for JETOUR Ghana to introduce its vehicles to audiences through a journey-based experience rather than a conventional showroom display.

Cultural engagement with Adukrom traditional leaders

A key part of the expedition was a cultural engagement with Nana Gyeabuor, Krontihene of Adukrom, who was accompanied by sub-chiefs and queen mothers.

The traditional leaders, dressed in Kente, received the expedition team for an engagement centred on goodwill, community progress and cultural interaction.

The visit included traditional blessings and provided an opportunity for the team to interact with representatives of the traditional leadership.

The engagement added a cultural dimension to the expedition, connecting the automotive journey with Ghanaian traditions and community life.

The inclusion of Adukrom in the programme also reflected the organisers’ intention to incorporate local cultural experiences into the tour.

Beyond showcasing vehicles, the expedition brought participants into contact with traditional leadership and the customs associated with the communities visited.

Showcasing JETOUR vehicles

The Ghana expedition formed part of the broader JETOUR Africa Expedition initiative, which uses travel and exploration to promote the brand’s vehicles.

The organisers highlighted the SUVs’ comfort, endurance and off-road engineering during the journey across selected locations.

The format allowed participants to experience the vehicles in different settings, including Accra’s urban environment and routes towards Aburi and Safari Valley.

For motorists considering an SUV, factors such as comfort, versatility, maintenance requirements and after-sales support can influence purchasing decisions.

The expedition provided a brand-led demonstration of JETOUR vehicles, although the organisers did not provide independent performance assessments or technical test results.

Swiss Group Ltd’s role in Ghana

Dr Farhat led the Ghana leg of the expedition in his capacity as owner of JETOUR Ghana and founder and CEO of Swiss Group Ltd.

The company says its priorities include promoting quality vehicles, providing customer care and after-sales support, and developing partnerships in Ghana and West Africa.

After-sales service is an important consideration in vehicle ownership, as customers may require maintenance, repairs, replacement parts and technical assistance after purchasing a vehicle.

Through its local operations, Swiss Group Ltd serves as a point of contact for customers interested in JETOUR vehicles in Ghana. The company also represents SOUEAST in the Ghanaian automotive market.

The expedition provided an opportunity to connect JETOUR’s international initiative with the local market through driving, tourism and cultural engagement.
