The National Communications Director for the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Akomea has said come 2016, Ghanaians will shock the ruling government with a massive endorsement of Nana Addo as President of the Republic of Ghana.

Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tutu on Frontline on Tuesday morning, the former legislator said, the electorate will not go to the polls to vote based on the indifference or problems in the NPP, but they will vote for a government with a proven track record, competence, integrity and incorruptible.

Nana Akomea said the Mahama-led administration has failed woefully in managing the economy of this nation and for the electorate, that will be the decider in the general elections.

According to him, the NPP while in office ensured that our interest was very favourable for businesses to thrive. He said one area that was keen in the NPP's era was the stability of power and energy which he said is the bedrock of any business.

He added the stability of the cedi was an achievement the NPP maintained, but the incompetent Mahama-led administration has failed in doing same.

Nana Akomea chided the NDC for allowing businesses to collapse because of their unrealistic policies.

He said the instability in the economy is driving investors away.

He accused the government of using GYEEDA, SADA as vehicles for corruption against the objective of setting up jobs for the youth as initiated by the NPP government.

He maintained that Ghanaians have suffered under the NDC and for that reason, they will kick them out come 2016 general elections.

He, however, cautioned the NDC not to be deceived by the happenings in the party because the party will soon wither the storm and come out victorious.
