Essien still has a lot of playing time in him, except that the Western Press has their way of making players down, esp those from foreign land. I hope GFA boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi and his office will heed to advice.
The Black Stars have fallen in spirit because of Nii Lantey Vanderpuije and the NDC govt's ugly stance with the team. Strangely, Ghanaians are blaming Coacch Avram Grant, who hitherto had been labeled, "the best coach ever" to handle the Black Stars esp after winning Silverware with the Starts at the most recent AFCON tournament.
Ghanaians have suddenly forgotten that we didn't qualify for any WC tournament until our previous govt started treating our players well, esp with the right kind of motivation and incentives. When corruption and scandals begin to rock our camp, and when govt shows its antagonistic stance with the players, bad results are inevitable..!!! Let's begin to reason up and attempt to do the right things and encourage our players. That's the only solution to reverse our negative trends.
