You had a good team playing for in England, where you had a very good competition from other English clubs, but because of GREED (i.e., extreme love for money); you accepted an offer from some backwater team in the UAE—where “the money was very good, but faced mediocre competition”, thus NOT developing to higher playing standards.
Then, again, the communists in China with enough spare money for you, you couldn’t take your damn eyes off that money and accepted that too to play against some third division teams they call down there (in that Mickey Flick) as first division. So, how do you say in Chinese: “Medofo Adaadaa me, Agya Asamoah?”

Gyan does a lot of charity work. You are not saying he's blowing money on women so you're not making any sense. If he fails it won't because of legacy he didn't build but because he blew his opportunities. He has made right life decisions so far. How many Ghanaians are living off their legacies? Practically none. Examine the lives of Polo and Razak. Ghanaian players who are living well are the ones who made money. Don't forget that it takes money to make money. Fame helps but cash makes it easier and puts you in control.
