I was a teacher before and Teachers meetings in Ghana is the longest of all meetings.
It is disheartening especially during vacation days.the school can close as early as 10am and staff meetings alone will take u beyond 2pm making the school kids running helter sketter.
It will start by the Secretary reading their previous minutes then followed by the headteachers long lectures.Woe unto u,if the circuit supervisor,Yaw Kyereh is there then expect the meeting to be ending at 6pm by that time most of the students are already asleep.
Most meetins I have witnessed has duration before it starts and it is done completely within the time frame. The longest it can take is 5minutes extra.
Kenichi has more than a point. He was really born and bred in Japan or USA,he can't stand Ghanaian meetings

If it is true were a qualified teacher then I think I have just discovered the reason such sub-standard graduates are being churned out of our universities. Being a teacher in ghana then relocating to the US must improve your spoken and written English and if this is the evidence of the improvement I am reading then only God knows what you were back in Ghana where you were a '' teacher before''.

You are missing the point. We spend long time discussing irrelevant issues before arriving at the relevant ones. Swallow your insult, Kofi.

What Mr Kenechi meant is he's got other things to do so he can't spend the whole of his time at a meeting which in most cases in Ghana, have no purpose.
Do you know the percentage of education rate in Japan? How dare you say Kenechi is uneducated?
Listen to common sense and try it to help you progress.
