It is unbelievable some of the organisational traits of the GFA. The squad is being announced on Wednesday. The players will join camp on Monday August 31st after the European Leagues break for international assignments after the weekend games. Some may even not be able to report for camping until Tuesday the 1st of Sept. or Wednesday the 2nd. So how can the Black Stars play Congo in a friendly on Tuesday the 1st of September? I don't think this is feasible. I think it will be prudent if the Congo friendly is cancelled or honoured on Tuesday after the encounter with Rwanda.

They all know themselves and have trained together for a long time so no need for long camping.
They have club commitment to fulfill. It is same for all countries involved.

Don't try to be complacent my friend. Complacency spelt Ghana's doom when the 2 teams last met on the same ground. May be you don't know but the Rwandans have been camping for over a month now preparing for this match, helped ... read full comment
Don't try to be complacent my friend. Complacency spelt Ghana's doom when the 2 teams last met on the same ground. May be you don't know but the Rwandans have been camping for over a month now preparing for this match, helped by the fact that they don't have their players plying their trade abroad, unlike Ghana. So it is not true all countries' international players have club commitments and so cannot camp longer if they wish. My friend, Rwanda is not Mauritius and to think we can get a good result no matter what is a dangerous mentality. We will be doing so at our peril.
