'River Jordan' is my name for him, about the way he flows on the field of play but often stops short when it comes to the 'assist' column.
Most agreeably, every deadly striker harbours that trait of selfishness or self centered. Do you blame them? Noo, no. They are eager to score at every opportunity at the expense of team mates.
Fortunately, this kind of trait can be taught or corrected by coaches.
That is why Dr Appiah, in my view is a suspect, unbecoming of a well groomed coach. Why? He keeps delving and eating from this river yet he cannot keep the environs of the river clean, albeit teach him the right thing to do.
Should I blame the player or blame his coaches at both club and country?
It pays to work as a team.
The fundamentals of the game
"Is pass and pass"
Is that not what football is all about?
Beats Me.

Where Sasko went wrong is where he mentioned AA's name. AA spends one, maybe 2 months in a year with the BS players, therefore if you want to blame coaching, blame the club coach who spends the whole year with the player, not the country coach.

AA may be at fault for not picking alternative players, but Jordan's specific mistake in this particular game should not be blamed on AA. As I said AA is only with him for a month or two in a year. That is not enough time to mould a player. In that account of time, you just work with what you've got. If Jordan does not understand that football is a team sport, I would look first to the youth development coach who worked with him, then to his club coach who works with him on a daily basis. If they have both tried hard to change him and it hasn't worked, then it's down to player intelligence (our lack of)

Boy like Atsu they will take the world by storm. 2018 those 2 wil make Ghana proud , my only problem is we need a good coach. If we had a good coach we would have won his world cup easily, we messed up I hope we don't repeat the same mistake again. Good coaching really matters. Akwasi Appiah is someone I like personally but coaching us to he promised land is something I don't think he has the knowleage and no how to get us there. Look at the US team with Klingsman as Coach and I promise you in 2018 they will be unstoppable , they can reach the quarters or semi's easily. We need a very good foundation to get where we want to be, we have all the players already and its our time to shine . Most of our main players are still very young , I hope this opportunity doest pass Ghana by, with Gods help the GFA will make the right decision. AMEN

By the way, do you see that I was right about Essien when I said him, KPB, Muntari were always causing trouble in camp, and you came on and said I should have amended my "cut and paste" as you put it?
Have you read the stories since then?
Yes, the GFA have part of the blame, the coach has part of the blame, the organisers have part of the blame, BUT the players also have to take some responsibility, and as I mentioned, whenever we hear of trouble, these 3 names are close by. You came and condescendingly told me I should have amended my "cut and paste" and removed Essien.
Did you see that a few days later, KPB came and named his so called anti corruption squad which was exactly him, muntari and Essien?
I don't talk by heart. Most of my comments are like prophesies. I talk, and then a day or two later an article comes out which shows I was right. When you read my comments, read them with enlightenment, not with a view to find a fault and make a jibe or try to be condescending/insulting.

Julo, if you understand football, you would know that every game has turning points. in the 90 minutes, you get 2 or 3 crucial chances and you have to take them. The situation with Jordan was one of these turning points, therefore Stoway has EVERY RIGHT to blame the ENTIRE game on the mad moment of crazy selfishness displayed by Jordan! That particular moment would have changed the game, and therefore we are right to blame Jordan for not making the pass.
Try to be objective.....even though you may be a Jordan supporter, accept when he has made a mistake, dont try to cover it up. You say we shouldnt blame one player, but you want to blame Jonathan Mensah.
