I can spend all day reminding you of the sort of mistakes this guy has made, but there is no need. At the under 20 world cup, he almost caused us to be eliminated when he fired over the bar against Spain after dummying all the defenders, and all he had to do was beat the goal keeper. There is still a picture of him on the Fifa website holding his head in disbelief, and you wonder why Sellas didn't give him more playing time. Assifuah would never have missed that opportunity. If we had not beaten USA 4-1 in the next game, we would have been eliminated in part because of his mistake. Go and watch other clips of the matches he has played for Ghana. He has made similar mistakes while playing for the Ghana national team. He is a good player though, and I hopes he gets better, because it will be good for all of us.

Some mistakes can be very telling, and any striker who shoots wide with an open net has a lot of growing up to do. Diego Maradona could aim at the crossbar of a goal post and hit it 9 out 10 times. That sort of precision is a result of long hours of practice and raw natural talent that cannot be bought on any market.
That said, every great player has his first time at playing for his team. You cannot say that because Yiadom has already had a chance to play for Ghana, he should remain there permanently, even if others have shown greater potential for success. To me, it doesn't matter that Accam, Otoo, and Assifuah haven't played for the Blackstars yet. They have shown what they are capable of in other competitions, and I'm fully convinced that they will produce better results than Yiadom if given a chance to play for the Blackstars. Yiadom played for the Blackstars before Warris emerged, but Warris has earned his place in the team in the short time that he's been around. The same cannot be said about Yiadom.

I don't know him anywhere, and if he were my family member and I thought he was not the best for the black stars at the moment, I will advice him to put the country's interest first and work had till he is ready. You are the one who needs to concentrate on your life, and stop suggesting that it is a good idea to show favoritism to family members. Is Yiadom your family member? Ghanaians have suffered a lot because of favoritism, and graft. It is not fair to set aside well deserving, hardworking folks just so your family members can have their way. You can start a business and employ all your family members, but don't bring that favoritism into national matters. We will not go very far with that sort of attitude.
I don't know any Black Stars player personally, and I have nothing to gain from having one guy on the team versus another. I just want what is best for this country, and that is why I contribute my ideas. You are welcome to contribute any good ideas you have as well. I'm sure people will listen and make up their own minds, but don't tell me not to contribute my ideas. Only ill meaning people will want other people to keep quiet so that they can push their own personal agendas.
