This is just for the record, my brother. Albert Adomah scored his first goal for Ghana against Tunisia in a pre- South Africa 2013 Cup of Nations friendly in the United Arab Emirates. I used to have my doubts about the guy. But I understand he has improved massively this season with Middlesborough. He may not have silky skills but he has great pace and power and can cross very well. For me every player must be assessed by current form and fitness for invitation into the provisional squad. The coach and his technical team will then have the opportunity assess them first hand before the final squad is picked. In that way we will have the opportunity to ensure the best available resources go to Brazil to defend the Black Star Flag.

It's not fair in either case - the hatred for his father who has served this country so well, nor for Jordan whose skills, speed, ball control, and ability to tear up defences is unmatched by anyone in the current black stars squad, apart perhaps from Dede. Jordan just needs a good technical manager, and he will be unplayable. The boy's got it. He really has it. Like Ablade Kumah of old, he just needs talking to, because he can do anything with the ball. We need Jordan in the team. But Boakye Yiadom is also good, very clinical. If he had been given more playing time at the U20 as Assifuah was given, Boakye would have done much more. I like him, because I see quality in his play. Let's try to support all of them, and put politics aside, prejudices aside, favoritism aside, and get good technical team for the boys and Ghana will be the winner.

I just hope it would be inkoom. the guy hasn't done anything in black stars shirt but he always get called. all he has done cost us games. in angola 2010 he played the Egyptian on side to allow gedo to score. in 2012 he kicked the ball directly to the Zambian player to allow them to score. in world cup under 20 we had to play 75 minues 10 men down because of him when he lost the ball. he cannot defend or attack. cant tackle, cant cross cant pass. he runs like a headless pig with that ugly face of his and he is too short. too much downside to his game and yet often we are forced to swallowed his presence on the team for so long. too much love for mediocrity in this country of ours
