These players should know you can't cheat nature just by reducing your age significantly on paper. How can a 45 year old play soccer with twenty something year old young men by pretending to be 29?
We have Akaminko, Sumaila, John Boye, Vorsah and Ainooson. We don't need John Mensah now. He did his best for the country in his prime and we thank him for that but soccer is all about "what have you done lately" and John Mensah has not done anything lately to merit a call up.

We want a traditional number 9 thick-tall like Tony Yeboah was. We don't have and so have to make use of what we have. Our defenders may lack the height and the physique but that is what we have. One being big and tall doesn't mean he can play that position well.
Where are the Burkinabes you refered to? Are they going to the WC too? What we need are skillfull defenders who can defend well. We need players with good vision. So far as we could have players to harrass players like Ronaldo and the rest, we will be okay. Those are the players we need to pray to have.

Yes, I admit we may need experience players at the back line of our defensive department; however, if the ones we have can't run, what is the use of taking them?
Coach Appiah shouldn't make the mistake LeRoy made during 2008 AFCON when he practically took about 5 injury players thinking they could recover before the tournament. A mistake is supposed to be done just once. After that, that mistake becomes a stepping block to stand on it for us to reach the next level of life. It is not for us to make that mistake again.
Here is a question we also may need to ourselves. Which one of our current central defenders John Mensah could overtake? I am not talking about the skills, for that he has it. What he doesn't have is a good health that can take him through a 30minutes game. Can he play for countinuos 30 minutes without coming out of game? Let us face it, John Mensah needs the time to get his physical right before he can play a 90 minute match effectively.

I believe a player must not only be physically and tactically fit but also spiritually, psychologically and mentally which include all marital and relationship issues. Even players who are not actively fighting with their significant others may have hard time making the team. Please let us carefully examine John Mensah and Pantstil before including them in the team. Thanks

There is nothing wrong calling JM in BS squad if he is fit. It depend on the coach how he will use his players during the tournament. Samuel Kuffour was pinned on the BS bench in Germany 2006 after 1 flopped.
