The 1963 team members never demanded their houses promised until 2013 to blame Ghana government for neglecting them. Oh mother Ghana, what has come over your children? We only see things clear when UP/NPP "M'ate me ho" party are in opposition. Enough of all these nonsense and move forward. Enough because Ghana is for all of us not the few. All these nonsense did not happen when NPP was in power for 8 years. Why can't they allow Ghanaians enjoy life than these type of attitude?

I pray that the members who are alive of the 63,65,78 and 82 squad will come together and help the current squad to lift a trophy which will bring honor to mother Ghana.

when i the news was being reported i became very curious to know which ex players constituted the 1963 squad and the brains behind those wild demands. immediately i saw the faces of oseikofi and mfum i said no wonder. osei kofi wants the world to believe that no player has played the football he has ever played in ghana and mfum will want us to believe that he scored better goals than any other player, but none qualified ghana for the world cup. i doubt very much if osei kofi was an integral part of the 1963 squad and its mysterious how baba yara got out of the way for him to take over. the least opportunity they starts complaining of not getting their dues but they rank among the ex players who have been enjoying a lot of freebies and priveledges.
once the position occupied by ibrahim sunday is not occupied by osei kofi, i bet you he will be all over the places hijacking, undermining.

The truth is that some promises were made these guys were not paid for playing football. I was there and you can call on all the newspapers to check Kutu told the whole world that he was going to build an estate houses for the 1978 squad who won the cup for good.
Kutu would have kept his promise if he was overthrown same year after all he built a house for D.K. Poison Ghana's first ever world boxing champion who was fighting professional. Just read below what they did to him.
"he single-handedly lent to Ghana $45,000 of his D.K. Poison vrs Fuku Yama bout purse as requested via telex by then Head of State General Ignatius Kutu Acheampong to buy Mackerel (tinned fish) to help alleviate the terrible hunger that the country was facing in 1976.
“They needed foreign currency in order to buy the fish for Ghana which they did not have. So the president sent me a telex to release the said money for the good people of Ghana. Over thirty years down the line, this money has not been paid by any government no matter how many petitions I wrote,” the ex-World champion told Blakk Rasta on the “Taxi Driver” show."
You sit on your high chair and write and say all you want the facts are facts.
Please answer this question how much was a footballer's pay in Ghana in 60s, 70s, 80s,?
I am waiting and we can debate this further if you can come out with any payment.

Sometimes you don't blame people who do know the history of football in Ghana and her great and unforgettable players, and what they have sacrificed their life's for our motherland. They raised the Flag of Ghana all over the world, and they deserves much better than what they getting now. Their football level was greater than the current crop of footballers and there was happiness in the country. Apart from late Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, these ex-football players had done so much for Ghana than all the Head of States past and present. Late Kutu Acheampong was second best to Dr. Nkrumah when it comes to Sports in Ghana. Lastly, I will suggest that, individuals can help these players to live a decent and respectful life.
