Dauda signed a contract to be a goalkeeper for Orlando Pirates. The contract did not guarantee him that he will be the number one goalkeeper so on what grounds can he cancel the contract? Let him refuse to offer his service to the team and he might end up without playing for four years. He signed for $400,000 for four years and unless the Pirates agree to let him go, he is stuck.

I'm not a coach but I'm die hard supporter of the Black Star Ashgold and Dauda do not have foresight that if Duada remain active after the world cup the offer could have been higher than what they receive from Pirate. South Africa is not good for goal keepers even aside goal keepers other if you are a foreigner playing in SA you have to proof yourself game after game the day you flop in a match that will be your end you should be exceptional of play for the minor team then you will get more playing time not chiefs and pirate. Do you remember Agyemang what happened to him at chiefs. Even with us in the labour force in SA the prefer taking SA matric learner to fill a vacancy than a graduate foreign. Coach Appiah if you want to use Dauda in BS squad then the guy must look for a team that he will get more playing time. I wish BS all the best.

As far as being in a better shape, what are you basing your evidence on? Essien played in our game against Egypt both in Kumasi and Cairo and his pairing with Sule Muntari in the middle in the Kumasi encounter led to the Blackstars routing the Egyptians.
As a matter of fact, Fatau was shaky in our match with Zambia and Egypt in Cairo and the report on him in our match with Egypt in Kumasi was incomplete as the Egyptians failed to mount any attack in that match and Fatau could have read Newspapers during that match without altering the score in that match.

If he can't show a strong spine to play for an African team like the Pirates, he could be good for African cups and perhaps the world cup qualifiers, but not the actual world cup. Ghana should find an active goalie to man the posts to clear the psychological deficit which crops up anytime a player shows deficiency in playing regularly. Essien is different, he has shown his mettle in the world, not just in Africa. We will harness his prior global experience and include him face up. We are going to play world cup, not African cup, so Dauda, clear that deficiency before we carry you to Brazil. I guess the coach agrees. Olele was axed for similar tangible reason.

What he must seek is to ensure more playing time in his team other than counting on favor from the technical team otherwise, I Per-Se prefer Adam Kwaarasey to him because of his good reflexes and height.
