Even though this group of players has done well by reaching the finals of the ongoing African Under 20 championship,there is still more room for improvement if they are to do well in the tournament proper, the world cup.Personally, the bright spots in the team, one, the goalkeeper and two their striker who has the potential to become top stars in the near future.
Manager, Sellas Tetteh has done well, but then need to include in the team about five top players playing in Europe to beef up the team with experience, like the Espanyol player Quaye and some four others.

All Ghana great senior teams have always been the product of the Satellite teams which mature more quickly to feature in important matches for the senior side. The 2001 team made of Essien, Paintsil, John Mensah and the 2009 team made of Andree Ayew, Thomas Inkoom are all good examples to this important under-21 world cup. The Nigerian Sports Ministry didn't put any pressure on their team which helped them win the 2013 African Cup, a cup Ghana will easily trade their 2009 undewr-21 African and world Youth Cup for.
