Lets even go with your nonsense and see how stupid you are. How could Abedi be 16 when he played for Blackstars in 1982 if he started playing for RTU at 17? Did he play for Blackstars before he played for RTU? That is what you are saying.

I recall Abedi, poising with Abdul Razak in 78,just after the AFCON.The captioning read,'14yrs old colts player of the year, with the African Footballer of the Year."So mathematically,he was 18yrs;which I seriously doubt.

You see how the records doesn't jive? According to records, Abedi started playing for Tamale Real united in 1980 and his football birth date was in 1964. That means he was 16 in 1980 when he started playing for RTU and he was still 16 in 1982 when played for Blastarts?
The records did not even list the team he played for in 1979 and I know I watched him played for RTU in late 1978 0r 1979 in Kumasi when I was in secondary form four and I got in trouble for that because I did not get EXACT(Permission) to leaVE SCAHOOL CAMPUS.
Abedi years have been reduced drastically. He doesn't even know when he was born, believe me. He was born in Paga but his record lists him as being born in Kyebi.

Abedi is just being smart, but deep within himself he is not happy the with way his kids were treated. You people should try and be empathetic and realistic.I am emphatic that Appiah will come home with his empty hands. You people think winning a cup is just a matter of selecting players anyhow and without knowing each other very well.Look at the history of the past winners, it is either a team of local players who know each other very well or a team of quality professionals.Professionals, who play in top leagues and have been playing together for sometime. Our team is full of mediocre and unfit players who are playing in small and struggling clubs. For example Jonatham Mensah and Annan are not that 100% fit.

Yes I understand what "ESCHEW and "complacency" means. My point remains unchanged because all the other teams are capable of winning if they also eschew complacency. It would have made more sense to me if PELE had said THE PLAYERS SHOULD DEVELOP A WINNING MENTALITY AND ALSO FOLLOW THE COACHES INSTRUCTIONS BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY WAY THAT SUCCESS WILL COME TO THEM. But just saying Ghana can win if they avoid complacency is just not enough. Other teams will also work hard to avoid complacency. At the end of the day, it is the mental acumen of the players and the coache's that makes the difference.
