Give me a break? Abedi was 16 in 1982? I remember Abedi playing RTU against Kotoko in 1978. Are you telling me Abedi was 12 years old when he was playing for RTU?

  • Rasheed. 11 years ago

My friend, Abedi didn't play against Kotoko in !978.In 1979 Abedi was voted the best colts player and Razak the best player. So could he have played for RTU in 1978.Abedi was about 17 years when he started playing for RTU.He w ...

I recall Abedi, poising with Abdul Razak in 78,just after the AFCON.The captioning read,'14yrs old colts player of the year, with the African Footballer of the Year."So mathematically,he was 18yrs;which I seriously doubt.

  • Coach 11 years ago

You see how the records doesn't jive? According to records, Abedi started playing for Tamale Real united in 1980 and his football birth date was in 1964. That means he was 16 in 1980 when he started playing for RTU and he was ...

I saw Ayew at Greenhill Prep, (1975)he was in Stage 3 or 4. His teacher/coach was Mr Owusu. He might be 9/10 by then.
If they give him 16 in "82, they are not far from right. School records are there to verify. He did not ch ...
