No surprise, before Christian Atsu, these 2 were the most agile players in the Black Stars. They have too much skills than they can handle, but you can't only rely on skills. It's on record that during the AFCON tournament of 2012, the Ayews were the most fouled players. Jordan first, followed by his brother Dede. They were cut down numerous times by reckless players from Mali, Algeria and Zambia. Strange enough, these 2 brothers never passed the ball to each other in the whole tournament. Coupled with the many over-the-bars from Jordan, Ghana was bound to lose.
Fouls cause delays, halt momentum and discourage players. I beleive in the Ayews, they are very talented but they are also very selfish. I hope Kwasi Appiah will bring them both back though I think Jordan should be sent to the meteors as a captain till he is 21. Coach Sillas Tetteh nurtured Dede as a good leader, he should do the same with his brother
