Hearts appoint new management team

Accra, Nov 28, GNA - Mr Tommy Okine Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak has in consultation with the Board of Directors reconstitured the management team of the club.

In all, six new members have been appointed to run the affairs of the club for the 2006/7 soccer season with Mr Okine as the head. The new move has reduced the number of the management team from ten to seven and according to a statement signed and issued by Mr Okine, it is in line with the Board's decision to reduce the high number of Board Members on the management team.

The statement said the move was also to downsize the management team for effective and efficient administration.

The new appointments, according to Mr Okine, take immediate effect. The newly appointed management members are Stephen Akwetey 96 in charge of operations, Jophiel Nyamitei 96 Finance and Kurt E.S. Okraku =96 Communications and Marketing.

The rest are Barima Atuahene - Ticketing and Security, Kofi Anokye Owusu-Darko and Maxwel Addo members.

The statement said Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku Administrative Manager of the club or his designated representative shall be the secretary for the management committee.
