The President fears his own shadow.Every corrupt Head of State fears his people outside his country,because the people know more about their dubious dealings and to avoid any embarrassing questions they avoid them. President Mahamah has a lot to answer to his countrymen/women in overseas on mismanagement of his government.Afterall,the President is traveling on taxpayers money and as such his people have the right to attend to every function that he will address and answer their questions no matter how unpleasant they may be.Ghanaians should show up and demonstrate to show their displeasure outside the Chatham House of Mr Mahama's primitive attitude.

President John Mahama also have the right to pull out of the hour talk and presentation. It is a private affair. Remember, there are others who may want to be there and not necessarily ask question.

I live in UK and I have attended such functions in Chatham House. The Chatham House principle is this "When you come here, what you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here everything you heard, saw and whatever stays her".

A few weeks ago, Dr Tony Aidoo, made a statement which to me was very charateristic of his honesty and frankness.
Dr Tony Aidoo stated that when people are seeking political power they seem to be very humble, but as soon as they they get to their position, they become too powerful and arrogant.
This is very relevant to John Mahama, a man who free education to the university level, even when his father, a former minister, could have paid. Such an ungrateful person, who is now picking on Southerners within his own party.
Yes! you can't be blamed, Mahama. We southerners are to be blamed for our role in making nature or God put you and your people in the north. For tha reason, we have had to deny our own people free free education with the nation's resources mostly from our own part of the country.
If all ethnic group were to continue voting tribalistically and if the Ebonos and the Ashantis, especially, will stop making silly statement against other Akans like the Fantis, it'll be very difficult for a non-Akan to become apresident from 2016.
This is because, the Akans make up about 60% to 65% of the Ghanaian population as against all the other minority ethinc groups put together.
To me, the NPP is currently wasting resources it should use in sitting her Ashanti and Ebono supporters down and talking to them from making baseless bitter attacks on Akan presidents like Kwame Nkrumah and John Fiifi Attah-Mills who happened to be Nzema and Fante respectively. I'm being too tribalistic, but because these two were not Ashanti Ebono or Akyem you vilified them and that is why the NPP is struggling today. Ashantis, Akyems and Ebonos think.
