They sold their possession and share among themselves, THEY TOTALLY KILLED AND BURIED POVERTY, read Acts 4:32-37, 11:26-30. The Apostles were WORKING SUPPORTING THEMSELVES AND THE MEMBERS read Acts 28:30-31; 23:33-35, see plain Paul rented his own house in Acts 28:30-31,received and preached the Word freely. He did NOT COLLECT THEM MONEY FOR RENT OR LIVED IN MISSION HOUSE as today's dead churches are doing. Mission houses today are money from the pastors ROBBED THE POOR, for example make a visit to one, you will see the so-called pastors living comfotable conditions or either in town in car while the poor members are striving to get a penny to give them as tithe or collection on Sunday. While I agree with you that there are many challenges facing the brand of Christianity being preached in Africa and especially in Ghana today there are examples of the churches efforts to contribute to poverty alleviation in Ghana. First credit union in Ghana was established by the Church. Long before there was NDC and NPP the churches had school feeding programs. Read about the background to the National Health Insurance. There have been agricultural programs, vocational and technical institutions across the country. Just do more research and then suggest what more could be done or even revived.
