Everything that units us as a peaceful nation is under attack by the USELESS NDC PARTY. Before they divide Ghana and leave us in shreds VOTE THE USELESS NDC PARTY OUT IN 2016.
We have lived peacefully without any TRIBAL OR RELIGIOUS POLITICS before the USELESS NDC PARTY WAS FORMED and their manifesto signed with blood. We don't need any division in Ghana. WE ARE INTER-MARRIED, AND WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. NDC IS DANGEROUS, VOTE THEM OUT IN 2016.

For Dr. Omane Boama or whatsoever his name, to bear a Christian name andthen was quick to support Moslems as against his own faith people. The only reason, he wants the moslem votes. Please let Christians take note and when we realise that a particular Politician is hell bent to win moslem votes and forgets his own religion, we vote against such a Politician. After all Christians are still in the majority in Ghana.
Is it not surprising that Christian Politicians are really nominal ones. They don't care about their faith. This explains why it Christians in position now who are fighting the cause of Moslems. I warn all of them to be very careful

This has always been the status quo from time immemorial but why all of a sudden there is this agitation by the Muslim group with active government backing. The answer is simple. Mahama wants Ghana to join the OIC.
OIC means Organization of Islamic Countries. They have member nations across the globe and Prez Mahama is seriously working hard to send Ghana to OIC's Observer Status so that he can get some funding to buy votes in the Zongos and other Muslim communities since such funds are only allowed to be spent in such places. One of the conditions needed to qualify to the OIC Observer Status is to scrap Christian mission schools. Ghanaians must be careful since a similar thing happened in Nigeria under the military regime of Gen Babangida and it brought a lot of chaos in that country and collapsed their secondary school education. Ghanaian Catholic Bishops should please contact Bishop Jatau of Kaduna State of Nigeria he has anti-dotes to some of these things.

The President should be careful not to take a predominately christian nation of Ghana to OIC for the sake of retaining power. The previous leaders resisted that so he should not disappoint his Christian compatriots.

that rather increase my understanding of christianity as against my christian school mates who depend on media and hear-say about Islam.
For me what is important is teach our kids about islam and how to become a good citizens devoid of corruption, deceiving, telling lies, back-bitting e.t.c.
My national service mate (a Catholic-Eric) who stayed with me for year at Sefwi Wiasso, was surprised to find out that muslims dont kills humans. He confessed to me that he only observed me trying to pray 5 times a day, even if i missed the time of prayers.
So please lets focus on more important issues.

Is this guy another Bawumia who has sacrificed his conscience for personal political gains? Is he really a Muslim? And what really is his expertise? An "Islamic Scholar", a "security expert", or an "international relations and diplomacy expert"???!!! My God, Ghana politics!
Whatever expert this guy is, he ought to know that religious rights and freedoms are fundamental human rights and also part of the national Constitution. Those rights are not negotiable and are not subject to discussion or negotiation -- they are guaranteed. Muslim students are being oppressed in so-called mission schools, the government says that it must stop and there will be consequences for non-compliance. How is this wrong or inappropriate? It is up to government to uphold the Constitution as well as protect the rights of every citizen. It is also the duty of government to ensure that all children in Ghana have equal rights to education so that they can develop their full potential and contribute to the development of this nation.
Besides, it is the State that assumes the financial responsibility of running the schools – not the tithes of Christians. Even if that were not the case, it’s wrong for the bishops to be confrontational with the government. The bishops should have simply adhered to the government directive, which was fair and just. The rights of Christians are not being taken away if Muslim students are allowed to observe their own worship in the schools, and if Muslim girls are allowed to wear veils – after all Catholic nuns also wear veils. Ahmadiyya Secondary School in Kumasi is has shown for a long time that it’s possible for Islam and Christianity to co-exist peacefully. That Muslim mission school admits students of all faiths; and Christian students freely have their services (various kinds) while Muslim students also have their worship.
Really, this whole thing is a storm in a tea cup by the Catholic bishops, and Mr. Expert in everything is here blaming the government for doing it’s job.

We do not care about all that you are saying. These are mission schools and if you can't cope leave and go to your makaranta thing if you feel that will give you the best education you want. Muslims must humble themselves to get what they want. You can't always force your way in all things. It does not happen that way in this world. If you need education, abide by the rules; after all how long will it take you? After 3 or 4 yours you will leave and go to practice your religion. I advice you to humble yourself to get what you want. You are too proud, calm down my dear Muslims and obey instructions for you are nothing but mortal. Your actions make us feel you are more human than us but that is not true. Remember that pride goeth before destruction. When you go to Rome you do what Rimans do, when you find yourself in a Christian school, you must do as they say or else the exit doors are open.

if my religious practices include murder, rubbery, prostitution and the like, must i be allowed to practice them? Earthly rights based on constitutions can never send one to heaven. I cannot imagine a laboratory technician dresses inappropriately all in the name of religion...... Let all Christians attend Christian schools and let all Muslims attend Muslim schools....and let both attend public schools where all these nonsense can be condoned.

This government almost always adopts PANIC methods in dealing with issues of greater importance. This issue is very sensitive in nature so it takes level headedness to deal with it. The Christian Bible admonish Christians to be quick to listen but slow to respond. The government by not being prevey to this knowledge has been quick to respond to make a bad situation worse. If one looks at the political landscape of Ghana one will notice that because of the government's absolute weakness people with hidden agenders have been exploiting the weaknesses to foster their selfish aims including naked stealing. They do all these because they know the government is incapacitated or toothless. God will save Ghana. AMEN.

Do Christians own schools in Ghana, all the schools are managed by the government. The school structure may be built by the Christian organization, the teachers are paid by the government.
The NDC had wanted to take an undue advantage here to cover up their mediocrity.
