In fact all of us should celebrate the Volta Region as the microcosm of Ghana. It appears the region not only reflects a cross section of all the major tribes in Ghana, it also exhibit s all the geographic nature of Ghana, from coastal grassland through a rainforest to savanna brushlands.
I will like to know if this Togbe Osei Tutu VI is a descendant of the great Osei Tutu, founder of the Asante kingdom or nation. And if he is a descendant then how come he is Osei Tutu VI, when wd are led to believe the Asantehene is Osei Tutu II? I think something is amiss here. If Togbe Osei Tutu VI was installed before the Asantehene, then it is not right to call him Osei Tutu II. Maybe Osei Tutu VII.
I am also aware that there is a chief called an Osei Tutu II in the Ivory Coast.

mr Man, please take the advice 0f yr fellow ghanaianan who told you to learn from culture.. Matse is my hometown, Togbe Osei Tutu VIis the paramount chief of the Dzobi Traditional area, consisting of Dzokpe, Ando, Nkuasi, Matse Bethane, and the Matse township itself, and the name Togbe Osei Tutu was mainly cos of the affiliation we had with the Asantes way back into the traditional rulaship of this state... so the issue of II or VII does not arise here... this is cos Osei Tutu II of Asanteland is the second in row to the Osei Tutu name of the stool of the asanteman....pls watch yr posture to this cultural trend... dont spark anything funny here...tnx

Nobody is alleging any name stealing, and stop being overly defensive when Ewes are mentioned anywhere.
My thrust was to ask the obvious in historical context. It was all about wondering aloud if Togbe Osei Tutu VI was a descendant of Osei Tutu the First, and if he were so, then the current Asantehene cannot be considered as Osei Tutu the Second, since from all indications there has been other Osei Tutus before him. My premise is if all the chiefs with the name Osei Tutu are descendants of Osei Tutu the First, then the current Asantehene cannot be called Osei Tutu the Second. He the Asantehene is therefore, perhaps, Osei Tutu the Seventh. That is my argument, and please don't impugn anything else.

Jesus did demonstrate power in care and that is the epicentre God's kingdom. He healed the sick, provided food for the hungry, raised the dead, etc. More so, the early disciples followed the same to the extent of sharing their wealth among the have nots so that they become equal(read Acts). Tell me which pastor or church do we preach equal wealth and care for needy? All we hear is God blessed me because I have more that others.
Wealth accumulation is now the salvation message. Churches burden believers with tithes, offering, seed money, devt fees, pastor birthday gifts, etc. whereas Christ has redeemed us from the burden of the law. We still collect tithes by the law but fall short to know that the same tithe law prohibits us from possessing lands and other properties. Shame!. No wonder there is no power of miracles among believers because we don't care for each other. And the false prophets are capitalising on 'carelessness' of believers to provide fake miracles.

Every intelligent person capitalizes on a weak law to his advantage.if the bible says ''don't judge'',which has become a tool defence for all christians, prostitute, murderes, every bad person, pastors, that is the result. There can't be prophecy of emergence of fake pastors and yet no criteria on how to identify them.examin the law.
also, the statemen of jesus 'he who is without sin shud cast the first stone' is another weak statement.was is not God's law,the law of moses which jesus himself said will lead to salvation that those people were about to execute? its like the court about to sentence a criminal to jail then president telling the judge to go ahead provided he is also without a crime, does that make sence?

It is up to individuals to think through the strategies they (churches) use to milk them dry. I think our constitution recognizes freedom of religion. We wish our false prophets and their adherents, mostly women, very well. If some Ghanaians have refused to think, what can you do about it? Remember: Freedom of conscience!

These freaking bush ugly looking Akan Pastors are the problem. You will never encounter a Ga, Ewe or Hausa man pretending to know God more than Jesus spewing a whole lot of nonsense in Twi, and they are so freaking intolerant of all other ethnicity. How can you enter a Christian Place of worship and listen to these village devil worshipers pretending that they understand what the white man was about when he wrote the bible. Jesting, irrational thought processes and abject ignorance in analogies they try to draw. I don't know what is wrong with poor ugly stupid Ghanains, but they are part of the problem.
We lack originality then when we steal from the white man we make things worse, from driving their cars to even teaching Christianity and the love and purity of God. I wish some crazy fool will go on a church burning spree...

You are saying what every Ghananain knows. What Ghanaians do not know is what you are doing about this falsehood and deception. Every body seem to know the problems in Ghana but what we lack is the honesty and courage to tackle the problems. Not long ago a Hari Kishna leader had to step in to tell Ghanaians that what Obinim claimed he could was a sign of magic or sorcery. The Christian leadership left a vacuum in the Obinim issue and this Hari Krisna practitioner took advantage of that to expose the falsehood and deception in the practice of the teachings of Jesus the Christ. What are you doing about the misfits in your midst?
