He should be banned on the basis of public order, decency and humane treatment of people. That boy is a hoax, fraud, crook and gangster pastor. We had better clipped his wings now before he has gotten so far ahead he cannot be stopped and pose threat to national security. What kind of god, in any shape or form, will instruct that his or its pastor/representative or what-have-you, should stomp his dirty feet, shoes and all, into the belly of any animal, let alone a pregnant woman?
Government has a duty to go in, on the basis of public order, safety, and security, to shut down that stupid boy's operations. Not doing anything to stop him now, is being interpreted by him and his consorts that they have a licence to operate anyhow. He operates on the flawed assumption that God operates in the spirit realm and communicates to his operatives or agents in a manner that is exclusive, protected, equivalent and consistent with attorney-client privileges; nobody is allowed to probe or interrogate what happens in-between the two. We are supposed to take what they say on face value as an article of faith. That is the fundamental flaw that allows these crooks passing as pastors to operate. For all that I care, some of these quack pastors only hear voices in their smudged heads, bordering on madness. Ask him about his god, and he will point his finger to an imaginary being on the ceiling or above the clouds in the sky. You know why, because he knows many people do not know what exists above the clouds, they have never been in an airplane. God exists within each and every one of us, not above the clouds or sky. Above the clouds, there is nothing else than the emptiness of space and planetary objects. Where there is life, there is God also.
Again there is a serious need for some kind of national licencing or accreditation board to vet, monitor, and control anybody who holds himself or herself as a pastor, mallam, fetish priest, medicine man or a medium. One must have had at least a bachelor degree in theology or divinity from a reputable public university to be allowed to be a priest. If we were to do that, we wouldn't have riffraff like Obinim calling himself a bishop and manhandling people and duping them the same.

The other day someone said on this platform that when you educate a normal Ghanaian, he/she becomes an idiot. It was one of the most apt sayings of the year.
For those of us who I believe have still got our faculties intact, we suffer psychologically every day from just observing ridiculous spectacles in the religious sector, such as the one Obinim is said to be engaged in, in this story.
At least seven out of every ten Ghanaians submit themselves to these wicked charlatans that they call Pastors every day - or at least once every week. They surrender themselves and all the little money that they claim they havent got, to these confidence tricksters then they go home and quarrel with their wives and husbands on money related issues in their homes.
Somewhere in the last century, the US govt put up a strong defense for their continued refusal to allow women, Black people and people who didnt own property the vote. The defense simply said that they could not trust the judgement of such people to vote wisely to the benefit of their hard won 'democracy'.
When I look at the majority of Ghanaians and their vulnerability to these thieves and tricksters in cassocks, I shudder to think that we all have the same one vote.
Is it any wonder that we continue to vote people like Atta Mills, Rawlings, Mahama and Kufuor as Presidents of Ghana?
