The Genesis account is explicit. You can check the Wikipedia for variant accounts.
In any case, Christ made reference to it during his Ministry, speaking of the final judgment (Matthew 24:37-41), says it will be like "the days of Noah".
For as the days of Noah were, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered the ark, and they knew nothing until the flood came and swept them all away, so too will be the coming of the Son of Man. Then two will be in the field; one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding meal together; one will be taken and one will be left.
1 Peter 3:20b-22 says that the flood prefigured the sacrament of baptism.
God waited patiently in the days of Noah, during the building of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were saved through water. And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers made subject to him.
Over the centuries Christians have found additional typology in this story:(all from the web)
by Dr. R. L. Hymers, Jr.
A sermon preached at the Baptist Tabernacle of Los Angeles
Lord’s Day Morning, April 27, 2008
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark”
(Genesis 7:23).
You cannot study the Bible for any length of time without realizing that the Ark is a type of Christ, a prototype or symbolic picture of the Saviour. We are specifically told of the typology of the Ark in I Peter 3:20-21.
“Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ” (I Peter 3:20-21).
Dr. Henry M. Morris said of this passage,
These eight souls (Noah, his three sons, and the four wives) were “saved by water” (this could also be translated “through water”) in the sense that they were saved from the deadly moral and spiritual pollution that had engulfed the antediluvian world after the demonic invasion. The waters bore up their Ark of safety, even as these same waters destroyed the old world and their old lives (Henry M. Morris, Ph.D., The Defender’s Study Bible, World Publishing, 1985 edition, note on I Peter 3:20).
Dr. W. A. Criswell said that the term “like figure” in I Peter 3:21 is “antitupon (Greek), which evolves into the English word ‘type’” (The Criswell Study Bible, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1979 edition, note on I Peter 3:21). Thus, both the Flood and the Ark are given as types of Christ in I Peter 3:20-21. Dr. Henry M. Morris said,
Thus both the Flood, with its ark of safety, and baptism, with its emergence from the waters of burial, are like figures [or types] of the wonderful reality of the death and resurrection of Christ, as well as the death to sin and new life of the believer (The Defender’s Study Bible, note on I Peter 3:21).
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
I am going to give you seven ways that the Ark prefigures, or typifies, the Lord Jesus Christ. These seven points of comparison are amplified, re-arranged, and somewhat simplified from Gleanings in Genesis by Arthur W. Pink (Moody Press, 1950 edition, pp. 103-109).
1. First, the Ark shows God’s provision of salvation in Christ.
God told Noah,
“The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch” (Genesis 6:13-14).
Before the Flood came, God had ordained that Noah and his family should be saved in the Ark. Noah was told to construct it before a single drop of water fell. So, also, salvation through Christ was not something God thought of after man sinned. From eternity past God had purposed to redeem a people unto Himself, and therefore, in the counsels of the Godhead, Christ was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world” (Revelation 13:8). The Ark was God’s provision for the salvation of Noah, as Christ is God’s provision for the salvation of sinners, and has been so in the mind of God “from the foundation of the world.”
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
2. Second, the Ark shows that we are spared from God’s wrath
through Christ, our substitute.
The Ark of Noah was a place of safety. It protected its inhabitants from the outpoured wrath of God on a sinful world. This speaks of the propitiatory work of Christ,
“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood” (Romans 3:24-25).
“And he is the propitiation for our sins” (I John 2:2).
“He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins” (I John 4:10).
Dr. W. A. Criswell said, concerning propitiation, that it comes from the Greek word “hilasterion.” Dr. Criswell said, “Here the translators of the KJV are precisely correct in rendering the word ‘propitiation’…propitiation is the work of Christ on the cross in which He met the demands of the righteousness of God against sin…satisfying the requirements of God’s justice” (The Criswell Study Bible, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1979, note on Romans 3:25). The prophet Isaiah shows the meaning of propitiation graphically, when he says of Christ,
“It pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin”
(Isaiah 53:10).
In His propitiatory work on the Cross, Christ bore the wrath of God. God bruised Him in our place. God put Him to grief on our place, so the wrath of God fell on Christ and not on the true Christian. Thus the wrath of God was propitiated by Christ’s vicarious work on the Cross, where God “bruised him” and “put him to grief” in our place, when the judgment that should have fallen on sinners, fell on Christ, our vicarious substitute. The punishment that should have fallen on sinful man fell on Christ instead.
“It pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief [in our place, as our substitute]: when thou [God] shalt make his soul an offering for sin” (Isaiah 53:10).
Thus the propitiatory work of Christ on the Cross means that He was punished by God, and tasted the wrath of God, as a substitute, standing as a substitute in the place of sinners, who receive salvation because Christ bore the wrath of God on Himself in the place of sinners who are reconciled to God by the substitutionary work of Christ on the Cross.
This is certainly typified in the Ark of Noah. The judgment of God fell on the Ark (the type of Christ) not on those within the Ark. Those in the Ark typified those today who are sheltered from the wrath of God because they are in Christ, as Noah was in the Ark. Thus, they could not be subjects of God’s wrath because it had fallen upon the Ark, instead of them. What a wonderful picture of Christ the Ark is. It bore God’s wrath in the Flood, while Noah and his family were preserved inside, just as the true Christian is preserved when he is “in Christ Jesus” (I Corinthians 1:30). No judgment can fall on the one who is “in Christ” because the propitiatory wrath of God falls on Jesus, not on the true Christian, who, like Noah, is safe in Christ – just as Noah was safe in the Ark. The wrath of God falls on Christ, just as the wrath of God fell on the Ark rather than those inside, for
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
Because of this,
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
Those outside the Ark had to bear the full force of the Flood. God’s wrath was poured out on them in full measure because they were not in the Ark. So it will be to all who are not “in Christ” when the judgment of God falls on them.
3. Third, the Ark shows that Christ is the only way to enter salvation.
Look at Genesis 6:16.
“And the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof”
(Genesis 6:16).
The Ark had only one door in it. They all had to go through that single door to enter the Ark. One door was all it had. Noah and his family, as well as all the animals, had to enter the Ark through that single door.
Likewise, this points to the fact that there is only one way to escape from the wrath to come. Jesus said,
“No man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (John 14:6).
The type is the one door to the Ark. The antitype is Christ, who said,
“I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved”
(John 10:9).
Notice also that the door of the ark was “set in the side thereof” (Genesis 6:16). Surely this points toward the piercing of the “side” of Christ on the Cross.
“But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side”
(John 19:34).
This suggests that the way to the heart of God is now open to guilty and ruined sinners.
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
4. Fourth, the Ark shows the atonement of Christ.
Look again at Genesis 6:14,
“Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch”
(Genesis 6:14).
The word “pitch” is translated from the Hebrew word “kaphar,” which means “to cover.” “Kaphar” is translated seventy times in the King James Bible as “to make atonement.” The simple meaning of “kaphar” is “to cover.” The atonement was made by the Blood of Christ, which provides a covering of sin. Sin must be covered by the Blood of Christ. Romans 4:7, in the New Testament, gives a quotation from Psalm 32,
“Blessed are they…whose sins are covered” (Romans 4:7).
Commenting on Romans 4:7, R. C. H. Lenski said,
So great is this blessed act that David adds another term: “were covered up”…The idea is not that of hiding under some cover that may be pulled off; and the sins be exposed after all, but of covering out of God’s sight forever. What sort of cover can possibly do this? The blood of Christ, our mercy seat (R. C. H. Lenski, Ph.D., The Interpretation of St. Paul’s Epistle to the Romans, Augsburg Publishing House, 1961 edition, pages 298-299).
When you come to Christ, your sins are covered by His Blood, as the Ark of Noah was covered with pitch. And so,
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
5. Fifth, the Ark shows the resurrection and ascension of Christ.
The typical teaching of the Ark reaches beyond the atonement to the resurrection of Christ. Look at Genesis 8:4.
“And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat” (Genesis 8:4).
At the end of the Flood, the Ark rested on Mount Ararat. The final resting place of the Ark was upon that mountain top. This points to the resurrection of Christ, who “ascended up on high” (Ephesians 4:8), “where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1). The final resting place of the Ark was upon a mountain top, typifying that place above, where the Lord Jesus Christ is now seated at the right hand of God the Father.
6. Sixth, the Ark shows the absolute security of those who are in Christ.
Noah and his family did not have to preserve themselves. They were protected from the Flood by the watertight Ark which was covered “within and without with pitch” (Genesis 6:14). No matter how hard it rained, or how high the water rose, all of those inside the Ark were safe. This speaks typically of the convert’s eternal security in Christ. As Noah and his family were safe in the Ark, so “your life is hid with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). Once you are “in Christ Jesus” (I Corinthians 1:30) you cannot lose your salvation!
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).
Look at Genesis 7:16,
“And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in”
(Genesis 7:16).
Once Noah was in the Ark, God Himself “shut him in.” What a wonderful thought this is! Once you have entered into Christ, you are “kept by the power of God” (I Peter 1:5).
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life” (John 3:36).
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish” (John 10:28).
“Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” (I Peter 1:5).
“And they went in…and the Lord shut him in” (Genesis 7:16).
“Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark” (Genesis 7:23).
7. Seventh, the Ark shows the invitation God gives to come in to Christ.
Look at Genesis 7:1.
“And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark” (Genesis 7:1).
This is the first time the word “come” is found in the Bible. It is given over five hundred times in the rest of the Scriptures. It seems highly significant that the word “come” appears for the first time here.
“And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark” (Genesis 7:1).
“Go” would have implied that God was telling Noah to depart from Him. “Come” shows that the Lord would be present with him in the Ark. This pictures what Jesus said in the Gospel,
“Come unto me…and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
So, my appeal to you this morning is the same appeal God gave to Noah. Come into the Ark. Come into the salvation Christ provides. Come in to Jesus. Your sin will be covered by His Blood. Jesus will preserve you from the judgment of God. Come in to Jesus. Come in and be saved.

For 120 years Noah preached righteousness of faith in the Christ to come for the remission of sins. But did the antediluvians listen?
"By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith." Hebrews 11:7.
The closing scenes of this earth's history are fraught with perils in which the unrepentant will find, to his disappointment, the door of mercy for sinners shut all of a sudden. Let's not forget that the same world-wide flood which destroyed the antediluvians buoyed up the primitive ship (known as ark) saved eight souls.
"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man (Jesus) be." Matthew
24:37-39.
"Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water." 1 Peter 3:20.
We can plan our hiding place in death with Jesus.
"O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!" Job 14:13.
What a privilege for the living to make plans now to live a secure life!
"For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock." Psalms 27:5.

The ark which was built by Noah according to divine directions, in which he and his house, together with representatives from the lower creation, found shelter from the storm of God’s wrath, is one of the clearest and most comprehensive types of the believer’s salvation in Christ which is to be found in all the Scriptures. So important do we deem it, we have decided to devote a separate article to its prayerful and careful consideration.
1. The first thing to be noted in connection with the ark is that it was a Divine provision. This is very clear from the words of Genesis 6:13, 14—"And God said unto Noah, the end of all flesh is come before Me. . . make thee an ark." Before the flood came and before the ark was made, a means of escape for His own people existed in the mind of God. The ark was not provided by Him after the waters had begun to descend. Noah was commanded to construct it before a drop had fallen. So, too, the Saviourship of Christ was no afterthought of God when sin had come in and blighted His creation; from all eternity He had purposed to redeem a people unto Himself, and in consequence, Christ, in the counsels of the Godhead, was "a lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:8). The ark was God’s provision for Noah as Christ is God’s provision for sinners.
2. Observe now that God revealed to Noah His own designs and ordered him to build a place of refuge into which he could flee from the impending storm of judgment. The ark was no invention of Noah’s; had not God revealed His thoughts to him, he would have perished along with his fellow creatures. In like manner, God has to reveal by His Spirit His thoughts of mercy and grace toward us; otherwise, in our blindness and ignorance we should be eternally lost. "For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Cor. 4:6).
3. In the next place, we note that Noah was commanded to make an ark of gopher-wood (Gen. 6:14). The material out of which the ark was built teaches an important lesson. The ark was made, not of steel like our modern "dreadnoughts,’’ but out of wood. The typical truth which this fact is designed to teach us lies not on the surface, yet is one that is brought before us again and again both in the Word and in Nature; the truth, that life comes out of death, that life can be secured only by sacrifice. Before the ark could be made, trees must be cut down. That which secured the life of Noah and his house was obtained by the death of the trees. We have a hint here, too, of our Lord’s humanity. The trees from which the wood of the ark was taken were a thing of the earth, reminding us of Isaiah’s description of Christ—"a root out of a dry ground" (Isa. 53:2). So Christ, who was the eternal Son of God must become the Son of man—part of that which, originally, was made out of the dust of the earth—and as such be cut down, or, in the language of prophecy, be "cut off" (Daniel 9:26), before a refuge could be provided for us.
4. The ark was a refuge from Divine judgment. There are three arks mentioned in Scripture and each of them was a shelter and place of safety. The ark of Noah secured those within it from the outpoured wrath of God. The ark of bulrushes (Ex. 2:3) protected the young child Moses from the murderous designs of Pharaoh, who was a type of Satan. The ark of the covenant sheltered the two tables of stone on which were inscribed the holy law of God. Each ark speaks of Christ, and putting the three together, we learn that the believer is sheltered from God’s wrath, Satan’s assaults and the condemnation of the law—the only three things in all the universe which can threaten or harm us. The ark of Noah was a place of safety. It was provided by God when death threatened all.It was the only place of deliverance from the wrath to come, and as such it speaks of our Lord Jesus Christ, the only Savior of lost sinners—"Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
5. Into this ark man was invited to come.He was invited by God Himself, "And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark" (Gen. 7:1). This is the first time the word "come"is found in the Scriptures, and it recurs over five hundred times in the remainder of the Bible. Is it not highly significant that we meet with it here as its first occurrence! A number of thoughts are suggested by this connection, for several of which we are indebted to Dr. Thomas’ work on Genesis. Observe that the Lord does not say "Go into the ark," but "Come." "Go" would have been a command, "Come" was a gracious invitation; "Go"would have implied that the Lord was bidding Noah depart from Him, "Come" intimated that in the ark the Lord would be present with him. Is it not the same thought as we have in the Gospel—"Come unto Me and I will give you rest!" Observe further that the invitation was a personal one—"Come thou";God always addresses Himself to the heart and conscience of the individual. Yet, the invitation went further—"Come thou and all thy house into the ark," and again we find a parallel in the Gospel of grace in our day: "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:31).
6. The ark was a place of absolute security. This truth is seen from several particulars. First, the ark itself was pitched "within and without with pitch" (Gen. 6:14), hence it would be thoroughly watertight, and as such, a perfect shelter. No matter how hard it rained or how high the waters rose, all inside the ark were secure. The ark was in this respect also, a type of our salvation in Christ. Speaking to the saints, the apostle said, "Your life is hid (like Noah in the ark) with Christ in God" (Col. 3:3). In the next place, we read concerning Noah after he had entered the ark, "And the Lord shut him in"(Gen. 7:16). What a blessed word is this! Noah did not have to take care of himself; having entered the ark, God was then responsible for his preservation. So it is with those who have fled to Christ for refuge, they are "kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time" (1 Pet. 1:5). Finally, the security of all in the ark is seen in the issuing of them forth one year later on to the destruction-swept earth—"And Noah went forth, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him: every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark" (Gen. 8:18, 19). All who had entered that ark had been preserved, none had perished by the flood, and none had died a natural death, so perfect is the type. How this reminds us of our Lord’s words, "Ofthem which thou gavest Me have I lost none"(John 18:9).
7. Next we would note what has often been pointed out by others, that the ark had only one door to it. There was not one entrance for Noah and his family, another for the animals, and yet another for the birds. One door was all it had. The same was true later of the tabernacle; it, too, had but a single entrance. The spiritual application is apparent. There is only one way of escape from eternal death. There is only one way of deliverance from the wrath to come. There is only one Savior from the Lake of Fire, and that is the Lord Jesus Christ—"I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by Me" (John 14:6). The language of our type is directly employed by Christ in John 10:9, where we hear Him say, "I am the door."It is also worthy of attention to note that Noah was ordered by God to set the door "in the side"of the ark (Gen. 6:16). Surely this pointed forward to the piercing of our Lord’s "side" (John 19:34) which was the intimation that the way to the heart of God is now open to guilty and ruined sinners.
8. The ark had three stories in it, "with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it" (Gen. 6:16). Why are we told this? What difference does it make to God’s saints living four thousand years afterwards how many stories the ark had, whether it had one or a dozen? Every devout student of the Word has learned that everything in the Holy Scriptures has some significance and spiritual value. Necessarily so, for every word of God is pure. When the Holy Spirit "moved" Moses to write the book of Genesis, He knew that a book was being written which should be read by the Lord’s people thousands of years later, therefore, what He caused to be written must have in every instance, something more than a merely local application. "Whatsoever was written aforetime was written for our learning." What then are we to "learn" from the fact that in the ark there were three stories, no less and no more?
We have already seen that the ark itself unmistakably foreshadowed the Lord Jesus. Passing through the waters of judgment, being itself submerged by them; grounding on the seventeenth day of the month—as we shall see, the day of our Lord’s Resurrection; and affording a shelter to all who were within it, the ark was a very clear type of Christ. Therefore the inside of the ark must speak to us of what we have in Christ. Is it not clear then that the ark divided into three stories more than hints at our threefold salvation in Christ? The salvation which we have in Christ is a threefold one, and that in a double sense. It is a salvation which embraces each part of our threefold constitution, making provision for the redemption of our spirit, and soul, and body (1 Thess. 5:23); and further, our salvation is a three tense salvation—we have been saved from the penalty of sin, are being saved from the power of sin, we shall yet be saved from the presence of sin.
9. Next, we observe that the ark was furnished with a window and this was placed "above"—"A window shalt thou make to the ark and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above" (Gen. 6:16). The spiritual application is patent. Noah and his companions were not to be looking down on the scene of destruction beneath and around them, but up toward the living God. The same lesson was taught to Jehovah’s people in the Wilderness. The pillar of cloud to guide them by day and the pillar of fire to protect them by night was provided not only for their guidance, but was furnished for their instruction as well. Israel must look up to the great Jehovah and not be occupied with the difficulties and dangers of the wilderness. So, we, called upon to walk by faith, are to journey with our eyes turned heavenward. Our affection must be set upon" things above, not on things on the earth" (Col. 3:2).
10. The ark was furnished with "rooms"or "nests"—"Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms (margin "nests") shalt thou make in the ark" (Gen. 6:14). In every other passage in the Old Testament where the Hebrew word "gen" occurs, it is translated "nest." We hesitate to press the spiritual signification here; yet, we have seen that the ark is such a striking and comprehensive type of our salvation in Christ we must believe that this detail in the picture has some meaning, whether we are able to discern it or no. The thought which is suggested to us is, that in Christ we have something more than a refuge, we have a resting place;we are like birds in their nests, the objects of Another’s loving care. Oh, is it that the "nests" in the ark look forward to the "many mansions" in the Father’s House? which our Lord has gone to prepare for us. It is rather curious that there is some uncertainty about the precise meaning of the Greek word here translated "mansions.’’ Weymouth renders it, "InMy Father’s house are many resting places!"
11. In connection with the ark the great truth of Atonement is typically presented. This comes out in several particulars: "Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch" (Gen. 6:14). The Hebrew word here is not the common one for "pitch" which is "zetteth," but is "kapher," which is translated seventy times in the Old Testament "to make atonement." The simple meaning of "kapher" is "to cover"and nowhere else is it rendered "pitch." Atonement was made by the blood which provided a covering for sin. Our readers being familiar with this thought, there is no need for us to develop it. God is holy, and as such He is "of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity" (Habakkuk 1:13), hence sin must be covered—coveredby blood. It is therefore remarkable that this word "kapher" should be employed (for the first time in Scripture) in connection with the ark, as though to teach us that a shelter from God’s wrath can be found only beneath the atoning blood! Again we notice that the storm fell upon the ark which provided shelter for Noah and those that were with him. So, too, the clouds of Divine judgment burst upon our adorable Redeemer as He suffered in our stead: "All Thy waves and thy billows are gone over Me" (Ps. 42:7) was His cry; and may not His words here be language pointing back to the very type we are now considering?
12. As others have pointed out, the typical teaching of the ark reaches beyond the truth of atonement to resurrection itself. We quote here from the writings of the late Mr. William Lincoln: "There seems no reason to doubt that the day the ark rested on the mountain of Ararat is identical with the day on which the Lord rose from the dead. It rested "on the seventeenth day of the seventh month." But by the commandment of the Lord, given at the time of the institution of the feast of the Passover, the seventh month was changed into the first month. Then three days after the Passover, which was on the fourteenth day of the month, the Lord, having passed quite through the waters of judgment, stood in resurrection in the midst of His disciples, saying, "Peace be unto you." They, as well as Himself, had reached the haven of everlasting rest." But not only does our type prefigure our Lord’s resurrection from the dead, it also suggests the truth of His ascension, for we read "And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month upon the mountains of Ararat"(Gen. 8:4). The final resting place of the ark was upon the mountain top, speaking of the place "on high" where our Savior is now seated at the right hand of God.
We lay our pen down with a strengthened conviction that the Holy Scriptures are no mere "cunningly devised fables," but that they are indeed the inspired Word of the living God.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus gives peace and his true followers live in peace with everybody. The conflicts in Irag, Syria, Libya,Yemen, Afghanistan, Nigeria and the violet subjugation of non-muslims in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Iran, Palestine, Egypt, Pakistan, Indonesia, and by extension, all muslim dominated countries is because you have rejected the peace that the son of God offers. This world would have been a much better place and of love and tolerance without Islam. This religion certainly cannot be from God. God would never wish that human beings be treated the way muslims treat unbelievers and one another. Islam is the religion of the Anti-Christ. Its purpose is to present a fictitious Christ who never said he is the son of God(divine) and not surprisingly, who never died on a cross or anywhere for the sins of anyone. What can be more anti-Christ than this?

No,it's not according to their duration of time, but rather, the contaminations of our DNA by Satan.Another point of discrepancy is the number of people that boarded the Ark.Christians maintain 8;Noah and wife,Shem,Ham,Japheth and their three wives.
Any take on why there were still giants on earth after the destructions.i am not here to challenge or impose anything on you,but to learn more.Being a Christian does not make me your enemy;at least, according to what I saw from my Moslem friends back then in Ghana.

People should know that even the so call historians got a lot of their information from the bible. If you trace the genealogy of Adam you will come down to Noah and to Abraham and to Moses etc. and to JESUS who took part in creation. Now all these prophets were not Arabs. So if Mohammed has copied the information of the ancestors of our Lord JESUS from Abraham to Jacob to Isaac to Benjamin to Solomon to David- these are the same people Jehovah called his own people in the Bible. Allah should have known this but not to sow seeds of discord between unsuspecting Moslems and Christians. Brethren, this is not new because all along the pharasees and the hypocrates were arguing in similar fashion that JESUS is not son of God, and that JESUS is against God etc. So moslems should stop fooling themselves for the Quran has NO message of its own but what was already revealed.

No one can confuse you with anything against your will. If you can read then all you need do is look for the Quran and findout if you can find a single contradiction. It is part of Islam to believe and accept Allah's prophets( Jesus included) and the messages they preached(authentic, not fabricated ). We Muslims do read the Bible without fear but unfortunately most Christians would rather avoid the Quran for fear of discovering the truth. No wonder we find Christians who do not even realise that by rejecting Allah, they really have no one to worship. Please read the Quran and don't peddle rumors and wrong information

Hello! If you really read the Bible, I encourage you to honest about the texts you read. Thus is because, as you read, the Scriptures also reads you, for it is able to discern the intents and purposes pf the heart.
Your claim about who Jesus Christ is paramount in the eyes of God. Nothing less can be said about him, as it is written.
And respecting that he is more than a Prophet is very crucial, in that HE is the Son of God, the lamb of God whom God himself gave, so that through his sacrificial death and resurrection(atonement), opportunity has been given to every humanity on earth.
Baptism is very significant, and is one of the immediate instructions to be observed, after repentance. First, believing and Baptism follows.
Christ, himself read and approved of the Old Testament writings, which were the inspired writings of the Prophets of the Jews(Israel), a nation that God covenanted with.
The Jews were untrusted with the ORACLES of God.
Christ himself said that Salvation is of the Jew, that is the Saving justice of God has come through the instrumentality of the Jewish people, in general, and Jesus Christ, in particular, for all the Jewish Prophets wrote about him.
Please, I encourage you to wholeheartedly investigate things, for the Scriptures encourages us to do so, by challenging us to make sure of all things.
The OT are full of the promises of God for humanity, and each of these promises are YE and Amen in Christ Jesus. In other words the promises of God(pertaining Salvation, eternity and rewards) in our life are made possible through Christ Jesus.
God takes glory in the Son, according to Jesus Christ.
Indeed, God has given us Eternal Life, and that Life is in Christ. No one comes to the Father(the True God), EXCEPT through the Son, who is the image of the invisible God.
It was through Christ that creation came into existence. Infact, all things were created through him and for him. Whatever belongs to the Father belongs to the Son.
It therefore matters so much, so far as our relationship with God is concerned, and that relationship is established by receiving Christ as Lord and Saviour. It is not about religion, at all. It is about a personal relationship, that begins with conviction in our heart, by the power of the Holy Ghost, for which an individual can testify to.
I encourage you that, spend time, investigate all things, because on that day it is not about what you have been told by others, but your own testimony about who Christ is. Jesus asked whom did people say he was, and Peter answered by saying, "You are the CHRIST, the SON of the living God".
Jesus said to him that it was not flesh and blood that that had revealed the TRUTH to Peter, but His(Jesus) Father in heaven.
Whoever does not honour the Son, does not honour the Father who sent the Son. How can one honour the Son when one does not even acknowledge that HE is the Son of God, among other Truths, as written!
I encourage every individual to examine the Scriptures, because everyone came alone and so shall be our demise.
And, by rejecting what God himself has said about his Son, for which Christ has repeated, oh my God! then, that is outright disobedient, and excuse me to say, we are making God a liar. It is tantamount to sinning against the Holy Ghost which Christ says one cannot be forgiven in this world and in the world to come.
It is not about being godly in our own manner. It is about how God sees us, by being obedient to his Son. During the transfiguration of Christ, God spoke, saying "This is my Son, listen to him".
The book of Hebrews warns humanity, not to be ignorant and negligent about the Salvation that God has given us which is in Christ!

You are definitely right in saying that a Budhist cannot use his "Holy Book" to disprove Christianity!
The fact being that there is nothing at their disposal to disprove Christianity(2nd Corinthians 10, 5), and no level of broadmindedness can challenge the Scriptures, because it is of the Heavens.
Buddha was born, right around 560 BC., and that was about 150 years prior to the conclusion of a few of the inspired writings of the Minor Prophets.
In other words, prior to his birth, all the Major Prophetic writings of Moses, Joshuah, the Psalmist, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and many more, even up to the time of Daniel were all completed.
He, undoubtedly, craved for knowledge about his creator, just like any other person who was and is conscious of his spiritual needs. Unfortunately, he lost the opportunity of coming to the knowledge that the true God is the God of Israel. In other words he never came to the knowledge and understanding that the creator of the Universe did covenate with a people, who taught and wrote about the coming of a Saviour, through whom the world would be saved.
The Prophet Daniel and co. left a legacy of the Truth about the God of Israel in the East, during the rise and fall of the Babylonian Empire and the rising of the Persian Empire. Apparently, inquiring minds explored the Jewish writings, and were looking forward to the King who was to be born, and whose presence will be signaled by a star, according to the Prophecy in the book of Numbers. God crowned or rewarded the men, who acknowledged the God of Israel, and the Jewish Prophetic writings, to the effect that they were directed to the Jewish land to behold the new born King.
I thank God that, Nepal, where Buddha was believed to have been born is rising up to the knowledge of the Truth. Just Google, and you will discover how many households are coming to the Salvation knowledge of Christ.
Idol worship which the Prophets, including Isaiah, condemned, is becoming something of the past among the Nepalese, and other nations as well. The Lord has been using missionaries from South Korea, and other Nations to be a blessing to the Nepalese. They that, once lived in darkness, have seen a great Light.
Every one on this earth has the right to Eternal Life, and that Eternal Life is free and can be found in Christ Jesus, the Son of the living God. It was a Truth that was promised unto Abraham by the covenant God, the maker of Heavens and Earth, who said unto Abraham, "By means of(through) you, Abraham, the whole world would be blessed", and also it was through Isaac that the name, Abraham, would be remembered among the nations on the Earth.
The covenant relationship between God and Abraham, Isaac and Jacob(Israel) is without question. God made Israel a nation of Priests and Prophets who were to be the custodians of the Oracles of God pointing to the coming of Christ, the Son of the Living God.
Christ came(was born), about 400 years after the completion of the minor Prophetic writings. All the Prophets(Major and Minor Prophets) wrote about Christ. The titles "Major" and "Minor" has to do with the volume or size of the writings of the books. Malachi(his writings is the last in the OT) and Buddha might have been contemporaries.
Christ endorsed (the truthfulness) the Prophetic writings as authentic, reading and quoting the Prophets and their inspired writings. Above all, Christ ascribed the writings to himself as the one whose identity runs through the pages of the Scriptures.
This is not the time to sit down unconcerned, and to stomach any other thing fed to you. You are to be sure of all things!
