Mr. Akyena, if you are really referring to the truth GOD, who had not been born nor born any one(ALLAH!),then you do not adopt good approach in appealing to him, if and only if you believe He is the One who created us and capable of doing anything in the uinverse, then you should believe that, God sometimes test his creatures(mankind)with such calamities to be able to know who is a true believer or who would begin to rant and rave against him in a discourteous manner, as you attempt doing in this piece Mr! But just ponder of these verses from the Qur'an below with the hope that you will find your fault. We need to be humble and respectful to God for him to move us from adversity to prosperity!
In tribulations, trials, misfortunes and calamities lie a number of benefits, these benefits have differing degrees of relevance, differing in accordance to the various ranks of people:
•? Realizing the greatness of Allah’s Lordship and His all-Encompassing power.
•? Realizing the humility and dejection of servitude.
“Those who when disaster strikes them, say we belong to Allah and to Him will we return.” [2:156]
•? Actualizing sincerity for Allah. There is no way to repress hardship except by recoursing to Him and there is no one that one can depend on except Him.
“If Allah touches you with harm, none can remove it but Him.” [6:17]
•? Turning in penitence to Allah and directing one’s heart to Him.
“When harm touches man he calls upon his Lord, turning in repentance to Him.” [39:8]

The figure of speech in Matt. 7:25 would not work unless it was based on reality. The rain and floods are natural processes. We should start building with rocks and on pillars, and that is not a figure of speech. Housing auth ... read full comment
The figure of speech in Matt. 7:25 would not work unless it was based on reality. The rain and floods are natural processes. We should start building with rocks and on pillars, and that is not a figure of speech. Housing authorities can relocate these residents, one house at a time, and they should not even have to leave the area. These are people who are in real need of help, and this is the time for people to help.
