I was first in posting articles on Islamic violence and enslavement of we black Africans but I won't stand by and watch some ignorant fools write this sort of crap which totally muddy and corrupt the debate on the subject. The struggle of the Palestinians against an oppressive occupying force has nothing to do with Islam.
What has the rightful fight of the Palestinians for their land seized from them after WWII and and 1967 got to with Islam? They are not fighting for Islam! They are fighting for their right to live a dignified life in their own homeland for 1000s of years, against new settlers who are shipped into Israel each year and their lands and farms given to them.
What has their fight against the oppressive, Apartheid-like system established over them got to do with Islam? In a recent documentary, some former leaders of MOSAD denounced their own govts and policies as gross abuse of the human rights of the Palestinians, with one comparing it to what the NAZIs did to the Jews in Poland!

Ghana is one of few countries in the world where all kinds of religions have and continue to coexist peacefully. That is a strength to be celebrated and we must maintain it at all costs. Articles like this undermine our ability to do so and has the potential to inflame tensions. If Allotey wants to be writing articles for other groups of people then I suggest he goes and lives among them where he will be accepted as a hero. I'm afraid this kind of writing makes you a "bad guy" in Ghana and I'm sure you can sense that by the nature of comments your article has attracted. Ghana has no problem with any radical religion so is this the right platform for you to be discussing such sensitive issues? Besides your article offers no reasonable solution to the problem of radicalisation wherever it exists. I'm sure recent events will tell you that the gung-ho approach you're suggesting only compounds the problem and there are many examples around the world. Your attempts to imply that radical Islamists are the bad guys and all others are good just goes to prove how small-minded you are. Relational dynamics are far more complicated than that and it would be imprudent to draw such shallow conclusions. I think you need to learn a bit more about international relations and you will understand where I am coming from. I hope you desist from publishing any more of such nonsense and allow the diverse religions in Ghana to continue to coexist peacefully as we have largely done.

The story is an event in the life of Mohammad who before Mecca fell under the control of muslims, declared to the pagans of Mecca that three of their idols among the 360 gods around the kaaba were intercessors between Allah and man.
The revelation came from Allah and was part of the quran. But after fearing criticisms for endorsing pagan gods, He abrogated those verses from the quran and attributed the revelation to satan. He claimed the revelation was given to him by satan who took the place(form) of angel Gabriel.This event is what is known as the satanic verses event.
As to your claim that christians claim Christ came to abolish the law,I insist this is a fallacy. This has never been the case in christianity.
Our position is that the law(the first five books of the bible given to Moses) cannot save. But rather it is faith in the death and resurrection of the Christ that saves.
Therefore after accepting the Christ as your Lord and savior, you need to obey the commandments of God to keep fellowship with Him.
God is holy and we need to be holy as children of God to remain part of His household. And this holiness comes from his Son, not obeying the laws of God which is impossible to achieve by any man( no man can live without breaking the laws of God).

Israel occupied Gaza after the 1967 war. In 2005 Israel withdrew its forces from Gaza under intense presuure and suffering from the palestinians.
So where lies your silly assertion that the withdrawal from Gaza was. 'Gift'? Gaza has never been part of Israel. Occupying someone else property by force does not make you the ownwer. Must you be grateful to a bully and a thief who occupies your 6 bedroom house and withdraw from 1 bedroom keeping 5 bedrooms? Israel is still occupying the West Bank and East Jerusalem which are being negotiated for by American mediation. The west bank has never been part of israel since its independence in 1948.
2. The second silly assertion is Israel's withdrawal from occupied Lebanon in the year 2000. That the withdrawal led to widespread deaths of Lebanese christians. What a writer!
