Mr. Nana Antwi, listen to Jesus talk to you heart to heart: "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep" (John 10:9-11).
"When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God" (Deuteronomy 18:9-13).
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn (judge) the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation (the cause of the judgment), that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil" (John 3:16-19).
"... (Jesus) said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them...." (Luke 9:55-56).

"... in this technological era, Christians should be abreast of the new trend of communication such as facebook, twitter and other social media to preach the word of God."
Question: how many Ghanaians have an accesss to internet service? and how many have and use their social media accounts?
These questions require answers and may require a task force to do a study to determine the effectiveness of the social media as an effective witnessing agency.
But for the meantime, we can still use the old tried and tested bibilical method of evangelism as given to us by our Lord. One advantage is that the witness can learn and minister one-on-one with his propect.
"Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick" (Luke 9:1-2).
"And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where" (Luke 9:6).
"After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come" (Luke 10:1).

The church in Sekondi-Takoradi, including SU, has much work to do reaching out to the youth and nurturing them to grow in their faith.
Takoradi faces the twin menace of child prostitution and homosexuality, with the influx of foreigners to the oil, gas and mining industries.
SU should consider subsidising Bible study guides to make them affordable to young people.
In the past the magazine 'Challenge' was sold in schools. It would be good to continue to publish and distribute this magazine to pupils.

Yes, our very roots, when Adam and Eve (sinned) missed the mark, the consequence of which we have all fallen short the glory of God.
God in his infinite mercies has given us the Grace to live, for Christ (the second Adam) came to undo the consequence of sin.
It is written through one man death came into the world, and through another life has come.
Remember God has given us Eternal Life and that Life is in Christ Jesus.
