I am a Catholic and will remain so till I die. The painful fact is that some Priests in Ghana are defaming the Catholic Church with their numerous amorous escapades. Sometime we lay people wonder whether the Church leadership is aware of these things and are covering up or they simply are ignorant of the facts. Whichever way you look at it Church leaders cannot be absolved of the havoc these Priests are causing to spirit and image of the Catholic Church. Someone like you should publicly chastise the Priests to get back to the basics of their Priestly vows and vocations. This is the best way to begin cleansing the Church.

The problem with Catholicism is not only that of faith, but doctrinal traditions. Take the case of praying to the saints, and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Where in the Bible does it say that the dead receive their reward immediately after death, or Mary is in heaven? Why then pray to Mary, and the saints if they are all in the grave awaiting the ressurection of the redeemed (Ecc 9:5; Job14:14; 1 Cor 15:51-53). Extra-bibilical teachings like this only confuses the Catholic Bible student / cathecumen.
"Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition"(Mark 7:7-9).

U know what it means when scripture quotes the words of an angel n of God when it says you are full of grace n that the lord iswith you. Tht All generations shall call you blessed. We are a generation and we are ,calling her blessed as to fulfil holy scripture, and you say we pray through a dead person. Aint you aware that some by their deeds n Gods favour have been imortalised. They live perpetually with God n they can pray to God whom they are with for us jst as u can ask your pastor to pray for us
