"'A'isha and Abdullah reported: As the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was about to breathe his last, he drew his sheet upon his face and when he felt uneasy, he uncovered his face and said in that very state: Let there be curse upon the Jews and the Christians that they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. He in fact warned (his men) against what they (the Jews and the Christians) did." -- Sahih Muslim 1082 compare to Jesus at the point of death " Father forgive them for they know not what they do"
Note that the quran if full of hatred for Jews and Christian and it's only natural that we don't trust islamic laws. I was shocked when I read the quran and the authentic hadiths.

Boafo, you are wrong to compare these two great men of God. God spoke to Moses with direct speech making him also one of God's greatest messengers but he did pray for the destruction of Pharaoh and the face of his wealth and his chiefs. Forget an intellectual, I think you are yet to be called a student. So let me teach you this, there is something called CONTEXT. Your problem, Boafo is that you are reading from a bible which was first commissioned 300 years after the death of the one it talks about; Jesus who was known as Yeheshua in the original books. Again this book of yours has seen more than 20 editions and revisions....can this be callecd the word of God. Go to Argentina and I can assure you they may not be reading from the same bible as you. Jews to date are waiting for the Messiah to come and restore them to their glory and build rebuild the TEMPLE. Please spare us your ignorance. Qouting your source of reference is basic academic work, sybthesising the content, contextualising it and deducing a conclusion will be be closer to some level wisdom. Be honest in your heart Boafo and God will guide you to the TRUTH.

aj-usa, don't you think that is what makes the qur'an genuine word of God. The fact that Mohammed did not write it himself...that notwithstanding, some Christians and Jews claim the quran was the result of plagiarism. Your Statement is right, the quran was put together after the death of Mohammed but not 200 to 300 yrs ago as you said. I am being very diplomatic with you because there is a semblance of wisdom in you but you are speaking from your heart and not your head. 200 to 300 is a very big gap of 100yrs so which one are you referring to before I educate you? Again, we have all heard that claim that the Iranians have a different Quran but it is not true. They claim to have had it from Ali (one of the companions of the prophet) but Ali stated categorically that he had nothing different from the other companions. No one has seen any different Quran amongst them. Think; it is possible to commit the entire quran of 114 Chapters to memory, that is how it has been protected the last 1434 yrs.

Why am I not surprise you are down playing the bible? Because the bible exposes the lies of the quran. The book that existed before the Christian bible(new testament) is the Jewish Tanakh(old testament) Christians have not condemned this book as corrupt but the muslims have. The Tanakh and the Christian bible have agreed on so many things which the quran contradicts, hence the only way out for the muslims is the excuse that these two holy books are corrupt. Both Jews and Christians agree that salvation is of the Jews and the covenant of God is through the son of Abraham Isaac and not Ishmael even though God promised to bless him too(but not with prophecy). Which means mohammed who claims to be a descendant of Ishmael is not qualified to be a prophet as God does not break his promise.Christians though we are not Jews are grafted into Israel(the mother tree) through Jesus hence our roots and spiritual source of sustenance is from Judaism, that's why we can never call the holy book of the Jews corrupt as muslims have the ordacity and impudence to blaspheme these holy books. And oh lets I forget Mary the mother of Jesus is not a sister to Moses as the "perfect quran" states, infact Moses died more than six hundred years before Mary the mother of Jesus existed, not to talk of the fact that Moses was from the tribe of Levi whilst Mary the mother of Jesus was from the tribe of Judah. Again it will be fallacious to conclude that generally one might think that the religion he is born to is best without any exceptions. Some of us have been in the boarding school for several yrs but that gave us more conviction in the beliefs we held. First and foremost, let it be very clear in the minds of all the inhabitants of the earth, coast lands, islands etc. that the promises of God for humanity is in the Bible.
Now the invisible qualities of God are clearly seen in the things that he has made, therefore man has no excuse.
It has to be understood that God is a COVENANT God. Adam broke his covenant relationship with God that brought about death to humanity.
God made a covenant with Abraham and his posterity through Isaac and the Jacob(Israel). The test of Faith of the readiness and obedience to offer Isaac as a sacrifice qualified him to be accorded with the promise that by means of him)(genealogy) the whole world would be blessed. This was a promise that God affirmed again from heaven. If Abraham was willing to sacrifice Isaac(long after Ishmael and the mother, Hagar, had left the family) then HE God was going offer his Son, Jesus Christ to behalf of mankind, that Son was to come at a time that God himself had purposed.
Prior to the coming of Christ, the Jews were entrusted with the ORACLES(the sacred commitments) of God
The Jews were entrusted with the responsibilities of coming to the knowledge of the true God and live according to his precepts. Israel was made a nation of priests and prophets, and they contributed to the inspired writings of the Old Testament(OT). Particularly, they all wrote about the coming Messiah Jesus Christ (Yeheshua, like you rightly pointed out).
The prophecies concerning the coming of Messiah which were all fulfilled by Christ are just superfluous.
Jesus, himself, acknowledged the writings of the Prophets, and quoted them often. Jesus Christ told the woman of Samaria, that Salvation is of the Jew.Yes, the saving justice of God has come through the instrumentality of the Jewish nation and Jesus Christ, in particular.
It the responsibility of everyone to come to knowledge of the scriptures that God has given us life and that life is in his SON. God himself declared Jesus Christ as his SON, and that Christ should be honored as such. Whoever does not honour the SON does not honour the Father who sent Christ.
Now the New Testament has hundreds of references and direct quotations from the OT, pointing or proving that all the things that the Jewish prophets wrote about concerning his SON has indeed come to pass.
The inspired NT writings began a few tens of years after the death and resurrection of Christ, and were all completed before 100 AD.
The WORD of God endures for ever. Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my WORD shall never pass away, says the Lord.
We are grateful to the Lord for the Scriptures translated into different languages. What we have various versions. Let your Argentine friend read his or her Bible and compare it to yours, you will realize that they basically are the same in every respect.
Regarding the Jews who are waiting for the coming of the Messiah, this does not surprise us as Christians because of the knowledge in the Scriptures.
The coming of Christ about 2000 years ago was something that the Jews were all waiting for. They thought the Messiah was to going to free them from the Roman domination. The plan and purpose of God was to free mankind from the bondage of sin.
Those who acknowledged who he was and is, were blessed. “I know that the Messiah cometh and when he comes he will tell us ALL thingss”.
Jesus says unto her: “He that speaketh unto you I am hes”.
The legacy of Jewish prophets(Daniel etc) in the Eastern part of the world was what provoked their embarking o journey to Jerusalem to see the King, for they knew that a star would rise out of Jacob, according to the OT prophecy in the book of Numbers. The Prophet Daniel is one of the Prophets accredited with the knowledge of the exact timing of the coming of the Messiah. Daniel found favor in the eyes of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon(Iraq), and King Darius(the great)of Medo Percia(Iran). These kings who were ignorant and incolved in idol worshiping, eventually, acknowledged that the True God was ans is the God of Daniel.
King Sennacherib of the Assyrian Empire died in shame in his shrine after profaning against the God of Israel during the time of the Prophet Isaiah.
The tomb of the Prophet Jonah is in Mosul(in Iraq) formerly called Ashur
which was under the Assyrian Empire. Assyrian Empire was overtaken by the Babylonian Empire.
Ladies and gentlemen, there is a enemy, Satan. The ways of this enemy is very cunning. Satan presents things which seemeth to be good. The only Litmus test the WORD of God which Christ himself has put his stamp of authenticity.
The wisest thing to do is to humbly look for a living Church where the preaching of the WORD of God would challenge you unto repentance. Get baptised by immersion and have a clean and clear conscience in Worshiping the true God.
It is not all kins of religious activity that please God. Jesus says broad is the way that leads to destruction. narrow is the way that leads to Life, and few will find it.
Cornelius was a generous and prayerful man. An angel came to him to send servants to Joppa to invite Peter. In the new dispensation Cornelius who believed in the God of Israel needed to know that Jesus had come so that the believers in the God of Israel would know God better. Peter came and preached to him and his household and they all received Christ as their Lord.
Satan deceives the entire inhabited earth, that is why it is important to heed to what Christ has commanded. You are to know what the death and resurrection means to you, for Christ is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. It is only his blood that washes you so that the Father will acknowledge that you are his child. Anything outside this mandate is following shadows, no matter how BBC, CNN Al jazeera will publicize it.
There is nothing like Abrahamic FaithS. There is only one Faith and one Baptism, for Abraham himself Propesied about Christ. In other words, there is a continuity of Truth right from the OT to the NT.
In the latter days the Jews would come to believe that one who was pierced.Infact, we have waht we call the Messianic Jews. They are Jews who are coming to the knowledge of God through Christ. Jesus is the one who reveals the Father.
Amen and Amen

Matt 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased" this same testimony was also confessed by Peter "You the Christ the son of the Living God"
And this amazing connection of testimony was futher reinforced by John's gospel that the antiChrist is the one who denies the father and the son. See how these are closely related and how the muslims openly go against God's own testimony of Jesus being his Son.Even though there are different Christian Churches, we still have this common confession that still binds us together, and I confess toay that Jesus is indeed the son of God(YAHWEH) Amen!

God has already given his testimony concerning his Son, Jesus Christ.
Paul gave a prophetic warning against misguided doctrines. One cannot sit down unconcerned about what we have received from above.
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed(Galatians 1:8)
Your testimony about Jesus Christ(of the Bible) counts so much.
We have a lot elderly relatives in our society who have not come to the knowledge of the truth, because of the beliefs they have been brought up in. It is our responsible to speak to their semi circular canals to believe in the Christ of the Bible and get baptized in his name.
There many also who continue to argue themselves out of the Kingdom of God.
Let people not be deceived that on that day, they would be pitied. Angels are keeping records of our deeds, and they are to present their reports without compromise.
In fact an angel in heaven has sounded a warning in mid heavens, saying "Fear the TRUE GOD and worship him" (REV).

I will forgive you for quoting from different versions of the bible because, as I indicated, I shall duly respond to that issue when we get there.
That notwithstanding, do you not find it interesting that Paul has become more important than the 2 Apostles/ diciples who walked with Jesus? Some of them having their books rejected when the first bible was compiled?
As a matter of pure intellectual curiosity what is Paul's other name? I anot referring to Saul or Saul of Taurus. I mean his complete name. Having authored 13 of the 27 books of the NT.
Please be brief as I am aware of most of the stuff you are posting so that we can have a meaningful dialogue.

Campus Ministry Report, you raised several issues that merit some level of scrutinty. Indeed mankind will be judged because of our ability to reason unlike the rest of creation.
I would like to just summarise everything you said into the points below:
1. God's covenant with Abraham
2. Whether Jesus is the son of God
3. Whether the bible is the word of God
4. Whether the blood of Jesus washes the sins of mankind. In other words whether salvation is nailed to the cross
George Herbert, an English Poet once said that "woe be to him who reads but one book". Herodotus (5th Century before Christ) also said "Unless a variety of opinions are laid before us, we have no opportunity of selection, but are bound of necessity to adopt the particular view which may have been brought forward". he then added "the purity of gold cannot be ascertained by a single specimen; but when we have carefully compared it with others, we are able to fix upon the finest ore". These resonate very well with your background(s); the FACT that you do not know about Islam.
I would start with God's covenant with Abraham. I agree with with you that we MUST know God from the things HE has created (heaven and earth and all that is contained in them). I am particularly happy that you actually make a distinction between GOD and Jesus stating in most instances in your narrative that it is HE (the former) who deserves to be worshiped and not the latter. You will agree with me that most of Christiendom today are worshipers of Jesus instead of the ONE TRUE GOD, contrary to what Jesus, Moses, Abraham, Noah, David, John, etc preached.
Moving on to my first substantive issue, regarding God's covenant with Abraham, I would like to refer you to the scriptures before the Qur'an. I would like to start with some level of chronology this time so that I can end with the Qur'an. But before that, perhaps I should state clearly to you that we Muslims believe in all the scriptures from God; including the Torah, the Psalms, the Gospel, and the revelations to Abraham, Noah, etc. We therefore believe in the men that brought them as messengers of God. I will save the rest of the issues relating to the Bible to when I write about the third point.
The Book of Deutronomy tells us about the promise of a prophet from among the brethren of the children of Israel like unto Moses. If this promise does not relate to Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)then they remain unfulfilled. Jesus himself never claimed to be that prophet alluded to. He is the one referred to as the promised one with the fiery law in his right hand.
To ascertain the personality of this promised prophet like unto Moses, verse 2 of chpt xxxiii throws more light telling us about the light of God shining from Paran, the mountain of Mecca. Hagar and her son Ishmael, wandered in the wilderness of Besheeba, who afterwards dwelt in the wilderness of Paran as told in Genesis xxi, 21. The words of the promised prophet are even more noteworthy in Habakuk. His (the Holy One from Paran) glory covered the heavens and the earth was of his praise. The word 'praise' is significant because the name Mohammed literally means "the praised one". I believe you are aware Ishamel gave birth to Kedar through his Egyptian wife and that the Arabs are the decendants of Kedar. It is thus interesting to note when we read from Isiah again about a Revelation "Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Keadr doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout, from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the Islands. I urge you to read further the prophecies of Isiah in the light of Deutronomy. When you have read this we can come back to it because there is a lot here about the prophecy of Mohammed (peace be upon him). In the NT Jesus himself tells us about the prophecy saying that he must go and pray unto the father for ANOTHER conforter (note the word ANOTHER, the problem is that in other versions of the bible it might not be there, and that significantly changes the meaning of comforter, especially in translated scriptures). The comforter spoken of could not be the Holy Ghost/Spirit, because the Holy spirit was always with him even at his baptism. God tells us in the Qur'an that he strengthened Jesus with the Holy Spirit. So why would he say that he has to go otherwise the comforter would not come. Remember I started by saying that mankind will face judgement because we are given the ability to reason.
Then Jesus says that this spirit of truth shall not speak of himself but whatever he shall hear he shall speak. The Qur'an puts it this way; "No, indeed, he has brought the truth, and confirmed the Messengers".
The NT further talks about Mohammed's prophecy when the Jews sent priests to John the Baptist to find out who he was. He confessed that he was not the Christ, not Elijah nor THAT PROPHET. It is well documented that John continued preaching, baptising and foretelling about the coming of THAT PROPHET during the life-time of Jesus until his execution.
Finally, Jesus's prophecy is reiterated in the Qur'an when he said "And remember when Jesus the son of Mary said; "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah (God) unto you, confirming the Torah which came before me, and giving glad tidengs of a messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmed (Mohammed). Yes God made a covenant with Abraham, and yes there is only one faith/ path to Allah (God). At one generation it was only through Noah, at another it was Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and now Mohammed. And I think you put it better, there are no Abrahimic faiths but one faith, submitting to the will of God; ISLAM. These men all preached about the unity of God as ONE WHO HAS the right to be worshiped. I shall be posting on the other issues i pointed from your posting Godwilling.

I would like to thank you for taking time to respond to my presentation. I am also glad that you desire spiritual things, for Jesus said "Blessed are those conscious of their Spiritual deeds".
The Bible says Whoever wants to find God, God would make himself known to that person.
I would like to point out that I did not accept the Bible as Truth simply because it is a Christian writings. Rather, I committed myself to scrutinizing it, after wallowing in ignorance for long.
And I bear records to it truthfulness, that there is no name given under the heaven for the salvation of humanity, except the name Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God.
When you have a writing that denies the Sonship of Jesus to God with, then one is denying the testimony of God himself. I just posted some Biblical references concerning this, just at the very time you posted your response to my previous comments.
I, hereby, comment on your response, Paragraph by paragraph.
"George Herbert ....you do not know about Islam ".
I do agree with the suggestions of George Herbert, Herododus. That is why we are to be sure of all things. The Bible makes it clear about a creator who created the heavens and the Earth. More attention is paid to the Earth because it is the planet that was fashioned in preparation to life. The scriptures, in particular, points to our first ancestors who sinned, the result being death. The knowledge we have from the scriptures is that Life has come to entire humanity. And that Life is in Christ, who came thousands of years after the fall of man. The Bible often uses the expression the God of Israel, The covenant God of Israel etc. to affirm the covenant that God continues to make with Israel. I met someone sometime ago who said that all the prophets of God were Moslems. I asked him whether he was referring to the God of Israel. He could not answer the question, and he never turned up for a scheduled debate.
The Jews were the ONLY ones who were entrusted with the ORACLES of God, in preparation towards the blessings or promises of God towards the entire human race. The covenant relationship of God and Israel is an undisputed factual fact. Throughout the Middle East, records exist to establish the fact that Jewish Prophets did make their marks in various countries to the acknowledgement of Kings, Military Generals and the populace that, indeed the True God was and is the God of Israel.
Throughout the Bible we come across Prophets warning the nation against all kinds of deception.
Unfortunately, the Jewish people slipped into disobedience from time to time and they paid corresponding price for their disobedience.
The Bible warns us in the NT that all these things are written as a warning to us.
The scriptures makes it clear about an enemy who deceives the entire inhabited earth. Our litmus test is the Scriptures we have received from the Jews, the very scriptures that Jesus himself read and quoted from them.
"I would start ....David, John, etc preached"
All the personalities mentioned in this paragraph, and for that matter the Prophets in the Bible cannot be compared to Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is not just a Prophet. He had is glory alongside the Father before he came down on earth, through the virgin birth. The Bible says when he found himself in a fashion of man he humbled himself even unto the cross and God gave him a name that is above every other name, that in the name of Jesus every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord.
Whereas God is God, HE has has so purposed that, you cannot talk about HIM without talking about his SON.
In fact, the Son is the one who reveals the Father.
Once, Phillip pleaded with Jesus to show them the Father, and the response of Jesus to him was "All these time I have been with you, have you not known me. Whoever, has seen me, has seen the Father who sent me".
The fact is that Jesus Christ willingly forsake his deity and became man, after which HE received his glory back in where he came from.
Jesus says "No one knows the Father more that he does, and know one knows him more than the Father does".
Jesus is the image of the invisible God, in him is hidden all the treasures of knowledge and wisdom.
In heaven when the angels give glory to God in an act of Worship, Jesus is equally honored, because he is in the very presence and intimate with God. Ibfact, similar acts of adoration is given unto the Son, for his atoning sacrifice. And in our worship of God, it has to be in the name of Jesus. This is because the Father is glorified in the Son. Our praises, songs etc is the name of Jesus. So the Truth is that what is recognized in heaven as long as our worship of God is concerned is that the Father is glorified in the Son. Jesus says "whoever does not honor the Son, does not honor the Father who sent me".
How can you honor the Son when you do not acknowledge that he is the Son of God.
Although, the Son is distinct from the Father, we cannot honour the Son any less than the Father. This is due to the fact that, the titles and honour that are bestowed upon God, as understood in the Bibles are bestowed upon the Son, as well. You can think of it that God shares his glory with his Son, just as in creation, the father chose to share the glory of creation with his Son, for through him(Christ) the universe came to existence. All things were created through him and and for him. The fullness of God dwells in Christ.
In the Old Testament we come across the promises of God, and those promises are made ye and Amen in Christ. You can also think of them as prophecies of Christ which are fulfilled in him.
You become a child of God when you receive Christ, the Son of God.
In our Worship of God if you make a mental distinction between the Father and the Son you miss it, for the WORD of God is God himself. In other words when we talk about the True God, the Son comes into the picture, for after all it is the Son who reveals the Father. Jesus never forbid people from paying obeisance to him in a manner of worship, because it has to be understood that in him is the Father, and in the Father is the Son.And if you do not acknowledge the Son for who he is you cannot claim to know God.
Moving on ... third point.
If you really believe in the Scriptures, as you claim, then why the argument. The fact is that you have not come to the knowledge of it. Jesus prayer prior to his ascension was that we come to the knowledge of the Truth, for it is the Truth that sets us free. I encourage you to sincerely and humbly study the Bible, knowing that it is Life. Think about yourself and your household. In the book of Luke, Jesus Christ, after his resurrection pointed to the writings of Moses(the law), Prophets, Psalms that everything written about him has been fulfilled.
The Book of Deuteronomy....we are given the ability to reason.
Look, youngnan, let me correct you right away that the promise (or prophecy) in Deut that most of you refer to, is actually about Christ Jesus. This was the reference that the woman of Samaria was alluding to, saying I know that the Messiah cometh, and when he comes he will tell us all things. Jesus said unto her that "He that speaketh unto you I am he" Make no mistake about this
Jesus like unto Moses!
Just as there were 400 years of silence before Adonai sent Moses to deliver Israel from her bondage to Pharaoh, so there were 400 of years of silence before Adonai sent His own Son, Yeshua the Messiah, to utterly deliver Israel from her ultimate bondage to sin and death.
Both Moses and Yeshua were sent from God (Exod. 3:1-10; John 8:42).
Both Moses and Yeshua were Jews (Exod. 2:1-2; Matt. 1:1-16; Luke 1-2; Heb. 7:14). (Note: This is no small thing, since Muslims claim that Muhammad is the prophet Moses referred to here; which is obviously incorrect, since the Mashiach must be a Jew - see John 4:24).
Both had faithful Jewish parents (Exod. 2:2; Heb. 11:23; Matt. 2:13-14).
Both were born under foreign rule (Exod. 1:8-14; Luke 2:1).
Both were threatened by wicked kings (Exod. 1:15-16; Matt. 2:16).
Both Moses and Yeshua spent their early years in Egypt, miraculously protected from those who sought their lives (Exod. 2:10; Matt. 2:14-15).
Both rejected the possibility to become rulers in this age. Moses was raised as a son in the royal family and could have enjoyed a lavish lifestyle as a powerful ruler, but he chose differently (Heb. 11:24); Satan offered Yeshua the rule over the kingdoms of this world (Matt. 4:8-9), but rejected that offer and chose to suffer and die for the sake of the people of Israel.
Both Moses and Yeshua were "sent from a mountain of God" to free Israel. Moses was sent from (physical) Mount Sinai in Midian, Arabia; Yeshua was sent from a spiritual "Mount Zion" in Heaven (Heb. 12:22).
Both were initially rejected by the Jews (Exod. 32:1; Isa. 53: 3; Matt. 27:21-2;Rom. 11:25).
Both were accepted by Gentiles (Moses by the Midianites (Exod. 2:14-22); Yeshua by the world (Acts 10:45; 1 Tim. 3:16)).
Both were criticized by their families (Num. 12:1; Mark 3:20-21).
Both knew God panim l'panim (face to face). God spoke directly to both Moses and Yeshua (Exod. 3:1-10; Deut. 34:10; Luke 9:34-36). All other prophets received their revelation by visions or dreams (Deut. 34:10; John 1:18). Both were authoritative spokesmen for God (Matt. 17:5; John 3:34).
Both were teachers (Deut. 4:1-5; Matt. 22:16; John 3:2).
Both revealed God's Name (Exod. 3:13-14; John 17:6, 11-12).
Both were faithful to God (Num. 12:5-7; Heb. 3:1-2).
Both gave the people bread from Heaven (Exod. 16:14-15; Matt. 14:19-20) and performed various miracles (Exod. 4:21-8; Deut. 34:10-12; John 5:36; 12:37-8).
Both were appointed as saviors of Israel (Moses as Israel's deliverer from the bondage to Pharaoh; Yeshua as Israel's deliverer from the bondage to Satan).
Both were shepherds of Israel (Moses led the Israelites through the wilderness (Exod. 3:1; Numbers), Yeshua led His followers as the Good Shepherd (John 10:10-11; Matt. 9:36)).
Both were humble servants of the LORD (Num. 12:3; Luke 2:46-7; Phil. 2:8-9).
Both fasted for forty days in the wilderness (Exod. 34:28; Matt. 4:2).
Both were Mediators of a covenant of blood: Moses of the older covenant (Exod. 24:7-8) and Yeshua of the new covenant (Matt. 26:26-28; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:20; Heb. 9:11-15; 1 Cor. 11:25; 2 Cor. 3:6).
Both offered to die on behalf of the people's sins (Exod. 32:30-33; John 17).
Just as Moses instituted the LORD's Passover on Nisan 14 as the means by which the Angel of death would pass over those Israelites who trusted in God's promise regarding the blood of the lamb (Exod. 12:11-12), so Yeshua offered Himself as the sacrificial Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
Just as Moses brought about the "resurrection" of the children of Israel as they passed through the Red Sea; so Yeshua became the Firstfruits of resurrection as He rose from the dead.
Just as the Torah was given to Israel fifty days after the Exodus from Egypt (on Pentecost or Shavuot), so Yeshua sent the Holy Spirit to form the Church fifty days after His resurrection.
Both of their faces shone with the glory of heaven - Moses on Mount Sinai (Exod. 34:34-5) and Yeshua on the Mount of Transfiguration (Matt. 17:2).
As Moses lifted up the brazen serpent in the wilderness to heal his people (Num. 21:8-9); so Yeshua was lifted up on the cross to heal all believers from their sin (John 12:32).
As Moses conquered the great enemy of Israel, the Amalekites with his upraised arms (Exod. 17:11), so Yeshua conquered our ultimate enemy of sin and death by His upraised arms on the cross (John 19:18).
As Moses sent twelve spies to explore Canaan (Num. 13), so Yeshua sent twelve apostles to reach the world (Matt. 10:1); and as Moses appointed seventy rulers over Israel (Num. 11:16-7), so Yeshua anointed seventy disciples to teach the nations (Luke 10:1).
Then Jesus says....Messengers".
The Spirit of Truth is the Holy Spirit whom the world do not know, according to Christ. The Holy Spirit came upon the apostles in full power for witnessing, during the inauguration of the Church, and this was a witness to all the nationals that had gathered in Jerusalem(Please, read Acts 2)
The power of the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. The convicting power of the Holy Spirit is what draws one to Christ. The Holy Spirit points Christ, for that matter after man recognizes and acknowledges his rec hardness that indeed he needs to be saved.
The NT furthe....his execution.
I encorage you to use the Bible as your source. Christ himself chose his apostles who were mandated to go into the world and preach the Good News, and that whoever believes should be baptized in his name, and teaching them to observe everything that he had commanded them.
John the Baptist never received a testimony about Jesus, when he was baptizing. He said he was not that Prophet(the special Prophet) who was to come.
When John was in prison, obviously his heart was fainted. The possibility of beholding Christ baptizing with fire, as he had said, seem to be far. He had to send others to Jesus inquiring if another one was to be expected. Probably, he was expecting Christ to do something about his detention. In anycase, his heart was fainting. We all go through situations sometimes and question things, until we are encouraged by the Lord through his word. Jesus word to John was that "Blessed is the one who is not offended because of me".
The Baptism by fire came at the day of Pentecost, when the Church was inaugurated.
The unfortunate death of John the Baptist is something that we all question. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, anyway.
It is on records, historically, that, Herod lost his entire army
after executing John the Baptist.
And in fact the entire family of Herod was later destroyed by a volcano.
Musah, I will encourage you to submit to Christ, the Son of God. This is the most important decision you can ever make. We are to redeem the time for the days are evil.

Campus Ministry Report (CMR), I am glad you agree with my opening quotes, but I am not too suprised you sunk into the usual rhetoric. How much do you know about the other faiths to be convinced that you are on the right path? I believe you have heard about Hinduism, Budhism, our own various Afrikan traditional religions etc.
If I may ask, what/who were you serving in ignorance? Or rather what do you mean by wallowing in ignorance?
You said you do agree that one needs to read wide but you only read the bible and nothing else. So....
I think you created more questions in your attempt by ascribing the "special prophet" (perhaps as stated in your version of the bible) to Christ than you answered. I expected that you would read Deutronomy again and reflect on my posting before responding. Please read the posting again? Three figures were mentioned in the NT; Christ, Elijah and (the special) prophet. That meant that THREE prophecies were to be fulfilled.
I still state, please read Deutronomy again. You will find the mention of 10000 saints from Paran, in Deutronomy xxx 3 which is very significant on the issue of this prophecy.
Read the whole history of the wilderness of Paran and you will find no other event but when Mecca was conquered by the Prophet Mohamme (pbuh). He came with 10000 followers from Medina and re-enters "the houseof my glory". He gave the fiery law to the world which reduced to ashes all other laws. CMR, I am not asking you to read the Qur'an yet. Please read the references again in good faith.
Your response on the Holy Spirit is equally woefully inadequate in the light of what I posted. Remember I have so far only used the Qur'an to butress my position but the bible as my main source of reference as you urged me to.
At some point we will use history books to triangulate the arguements as is intellectually done.
As inheritors of the earth God has given us conscience, ability to reason, and to some wisdom (the greatest gift from God).
I note the point about the question you posed to the Muslim (not moslem). I think it will be foolhardy to think you scored a point there because, yes, that is the muslim position, the prophets were all Muslims. You just have to read and understand what Islam means...submitting to God's will. And yes HE is God, the ONE, the God of Israel, Ghana, Nigeria, etc because he created all. So there you have it.
I think that if I continue you will miss the important points I am raising so I will pause here. Jesus and Moses were completely different by every measure of leadership, but I will save that for another meal.

God is a God of all nations. My use of the expression: The God of Israel heightens the fact that the true God did covenant with a nation, a people, according to the promise of God to Abraham, that by means of him (Abraham) the whole world would be blessed.
If you claim to believe the OT and the Gospels then you should not find any problem with this portion of Truth.
The evidences I gave in my previous response are superfluous. The purpose of my sharing these things for many to come to the Salvation knowledge of God.
Yes, I was going to Church, but never knew Christ. Our traditional religions (African) are nothing, but idolatry. They all have the form of godliness but deny the power thereof.
Buddha himself was born (around 560 BC) when more than 95%(in terms of volume) of the OT had been written: except for the book of Malachi and one or two other minor Prophetic writings, considering the fact that there was a time frame of about 400 years that elapsed before the coming of Christ.
So before Buddhism began, God had already covenanted with a nation (Israel) who were the custodians of the ORACLES of God. There is no partiality with God (Acts 10:34), and in every nation whoever lives righteously is pleasing to him. Righteousness is having a right standing with God. And our righteousness is in Christ. This is the mandate for every mankind.
The spirit in man thirst for his creator, and this has provoked many to search for God whose invisible qualities are clearly seen in the things that he has made.
The Father of Abhraham was in Idolatry(Idol worshiper) and called called him out of his household and commanded him to be blameless before him(God).
The Prophet Ezekiel(and other Prophets) warned the Israelite to do away with all kinds of religious believes and practices against which Abraham was called from the household
of his father.
Religions may come under the umbrelalla of whatever it may be broadly called today. However, if it does not acknowledge the Son of God, what he came to do for humanity(atonement), the power of his resurrection, and the executive power of the Holy Spirit, young man, forget it.
The Scriptures asks: Who is the child of God? The answer is, He who believes that Jesus is the son of God.
Throughout the Bible, we learn of his Power, Justice, Righteousness, Wisdom and Knowledge, Love, Mercy etc in his dealing with humanity.
He does not take delight in punishing the disobedient. Jonah was sent to Nineveh (Assyrian Empire) as a warning to them, and the nation was spared, because they repented.
One of the tricks of Satan is to present something which seemeth good. The Bible has made us know that Satan ir real and masquerades as an angel of light.
Religions have certain things in common, rituals(animal), evoking names, practices which even bear resemblance to some things in the Old Testament. Satan always try to imitate or counterfeit God. That is why the Children of Israel were warned against evoking the name of gods. God instructed them, regarding sacrifices as to how it ought to be offered to distinguish them from those of the other nations. (EX 23:13 , 1st Chronicles 16:26, 1st Corinth 10:20)
All the sacrifices and rituals were a shadow of what was to come, that is the reality. And the reality is Christ.
Hence, Jesus sacrifice cancels even the Jewish sacrifices of old. If it is continued, it is not acknowledged by God (records proves this fact)
The purpose of Satan is to kill, steal and destroy(John 10:10).
However, the good news is Jesus has come to give us Life.
Jesus says, whoever believes in me, even though he dies will live again. Where else can you be assured of this promise?
Jesus came to undo what the enemy did against humanity.
Musah, I encourage you, once again that your inheritance is in Christ for the taking. The promise of God are in Christ as written. Jesus says whoever believes. It is not just vain believe, but rather your believe will provoke you to study come to the knowledge of what God has given to you through his Son. No body else died for you, except Christ the Son of God.
If you want to take time to sincerely compare, please check the internet because it is so resourceful, and will be glad to hear from you from time to time.
It is easy for someone to say that he believes in the OT, Gospels etc. However, the person should be able to give a personal testimony of when he received Christ, and also he preparation towards Baptism.

Do you not find it interesting that all the quotations in that posting you are refering to come from Paul who was not one of the 12 Apostles of Christ in his lifetime? And I had posted a response which you are yet to respond to.
So why don't you answer the critical questions raised/ or refute the propehcy in both the OT, & NT.
Please do not jump the gun. We will get to all the issues if God wills it. I mentioned that we should deal with them in a phased approach to avoid any muddling through.
So may I agin ask that you respond to the posting sent you? Otherwise we will not get anywhere with this attitude.

Read through this passage in the NT (Acts 3:22)where the apostle Peter quoted Deut 18: 14-18 from the Old Testament about the Special Prophet who was foretold by Moses, and all the subsequent Jewish prophets wrote about him.
I suggest you follow the line of presentation from Acts 3:11
--------------------------------------
Peter speaks to the lookers
--------------------------------------
11 While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. 14 You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17 “Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. 18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer. 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a]
24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b] 26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
--------------------------------------
You see the clear proof that the context of the OT refers to that special Prophet who was to come among their brethren, an Israelite is the Christ.
Since the time of Moses, each of the Prophets that had been raised in Israel gave a portion of Truth concerning the identity of the prophet, and Peter was telling them that that prophecy did fulfill in their days (days of Peter).

A few months ago I presented a fact about the actual mountain Sinai which hitherto had been thought to be site near the Sinai Peninsula as we know about it today. Helene, the mother of Constantine was mistaken about that.
The actual mountain Sinai is in Arabia, north west of Arabia. All the clues are in the Bible. It is on top of the Medianite (Sinai) mountains where God appeared to the Israelites in a flame of Fire. The top of the mountains still stands darkened till today.
That is why when you want to look for Truth you have to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into the Truth.

And the children of Israel set forward by their stages out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud(glory of God) abode in the wilderness of Paran.
And they took their first journey, according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.See how this relates to what Moses was talking about in the book of Deuteronomy I posted earlier.Numbers 10:11-13
"And when it rested, he said: 'Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of the families of Israel" Numbers 10:36
Note here the ten thousands is of israel not Arab. The whole of this chapter throws light about the ten thousands of saints and the glory of God at mount paran

Good you said different translations and not different bibles as there is only one bible which is originally in greek and Hebrew, if you live in England you can get a copy of the original bible in the British Library in Euston London. The hand written manuscpripts are still well preserved and available till this day.The bible is a compilation of books written by the apostles and the Jewish book called the tanakh. You can the translation of the orinal greek version as well as the Jewish Tanakh on line. Not forgetting your question on the different translations, you woud realise there are different english translations as compared to other languages( I speak french, spanish, italian and portuguese too). The anglosaxon world is the most controversial, most anglophones don't like learning other languages hence the difficulty in getting the most accurate translation from the original greek and hebrew version. The same happens to the translation of the quran from the original arabic to english, the first quran I read in english was translated by Ahmadi Maulana Muhammad Ali in 1917 but the sunnis despute that it was translated to suit the ahmadiyan view, so now I go for a more neutral source of translation by professor Ahmed Ali's translation amongst so many other translations of the quran. This shows the different bible translations just as the different quranic translations are a result of different interpretations of the original texts especially common in the anglophone world. The french and spanish have very few bible translations. I read the original greek and hebrew translation online and I possess the KJV bible hard copy. This is how I do it; I read the KJV bible and compare to the online original greek and Jewish translation then the holy spirit in me confirms it. I'm still trying to learn hebrew and greek though. I suppose you read your quran in arabic that's why don't know there are different translations of the quran in english. Now my question to you too, how do those moslims who don't understand arabic language explain the differences in the english translations to the reliability of the quran they read? I know of at least more than 10 different english versions of the quran. I'm just using the same measure you used to question the reliability of the bible on you. WORD!

I thought all your requests have received attention!
Take time and go through the postings.
Let me also point out that Paul was a vessel that God used.
The Lord visited him at his own time.
Our Lord and savior also made it known to him, how he(Paul)was to suffer for the name of Christ.
Paul indeed suffered. He drew strength from the Lord, and also from the fact that he himself acted in opposition to Christians, and that his persecutors were acting in ignorance, for which he could easily forgive them.
In his deference, he took opportunity of the occasion to witness to many about Christ, proving from the writings of Moses, through those of the Prophets and the book of Psalms.
The fact that he was not part of the 12 does not mean that he could not be used of the Lord, for Christ is alive.
Similarly, you can also be used by the Lord, if you avail yourself to him. What a privilege!
Paul was very much educated in the OT. All he needed was for his eyes to be opened, spiritually, to behold the magnificent things of God.
He was used mightily by the Lord to establish Churches in various parts of Asia Minor, and we all blessing to his legacy in the name of Jesus Christ.

Thanks this far CMR,
I had a very busy day in the office today, hence the delay in posting.
I would like to round up on point 1. God's covenant with Abraham with regards to the 'prophet'.
I quoted from the book of Deutronomy, Isiah, and John respectively. In the OT we know that the the specific reference was to the inhabitants of the wilderness of Paran, the offsprings of Kedar, Ishamael first son with his Egyptian wife, and the decendants of the Arabs. I also quoted to you the book of Genesis and Habakuk.
Your most conclusive answer to that was that the real mount Sinai is in Arabia. As I mentioned to you, the only way to make the story stick that, Mohammed is not the 'prophet' being referred to is to move mount sinai to Arabia. What I find intriguing is that at one point you do not believe what the media say (when you quoted BBC, cnn, al-jazeera), but at another point you are quick to believe because it favours your point of view.
So If I ask you, do you believe in evolution, because Discovery channel which you used in your recent presentation are the proponents of evolution. I am not sure if you know their (the evolutionists) view of our origin (you and i) and what that means to the black race; we are still evolving, not as smart and deserving to be ruled.
Remember, moving mount Sinai to Arabia still leaves two questions unanswered; 3 prophecies were mentioned Christ, Elijah, and that prophet. Christ could, thus not be that prophet (after all you take him for the son of God - next stage of dialogue). As though that was not enough, Christ himself talks about ANOTHER comforter, in other words he is one.
For want of time please refer to the following Historians works about Mohammed (pbuh).
W. Montgomery Watt. Muhammad: Prophet and Statesman. Oxford University Press. Please read this and you will understand why you have never attempted to research the Qur'an. It will lead you to understand how Western Scholars and Missionaries created this "great enemy" that is Islam and Mohammed (pbuh).
Reverend Bosworth Smith said: If ever a man ruled by a right divine, it was Mohammad. He cared not for the dressings of power. The simplicity of his private lief was in keeping with his public life (Mohammed & Mohammedanism)
Washington Irving (Life of Mohammed).
Dr Gary Miller
Michael Hart (100 greatest men)
Thomas Carlyle
Alphonse de LaMarataine (Historie de al Turquie).
You mentioned that you were wandering in the wilderness until you found Christ, let us assume that, just may be, there is some truth yet to be discovered, would you take this opportunity? You can read the English Qur'an after this. I am not asking you to revert to Islam but read and convince yourself that you are on the right path of/ to salvation.
I guess we can move to the next point; Whether Jesus is the Son of God. I shall be glad to read your proofs.
Regards

The Promise Of The Holy Spirit
INTRODUCTION
The Holy Spirit is involved
in
a. Creation
b. Revelation
c. Confirmation
d. Regeneration
e. Sanctification
2. It is evident that the Holy Spirit has been at work throughout...
a. The history of mankind
b. The redemption of mankind
3. Of special interest is the working of the Holy Spirit in the life of
a Christian...
a. An area of study in which many have questions
b. An area in which there is great diversity of views
[A good place to begin might be the promise of the Holy Spirit. Long
before Jesus came, God began making promises about the Spirit ...]
I. THE PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
A. THE PROPHECY OF JOEL...
1. Recorded in Joel 2:28-32 (ca. 800 B.C.)
2. The elements of this prophecy included:
a. The Spirit being poured out on all flesh - Joel 2:28
b. Sons and daughters of Israel prophesying , and Israel's
young and old men seeing visions and dreaming dreams (note
"your") - Joel 2:28
c. God's Spirit being poured out upon His menservants and
maidservants (including Gentiles?) and their prophesying
- Joel 2:29
3. This prophecy began to be fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost
after the Ascension of Christ
a. When the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles in Jerusalem
- Ac 2:1-4
b. Who enabled them to speak in foreign languages - Ac 2:4-13
c. Note that Peter ties the events of that day with Joel's
prophecy - Ac 2:15-21
-- It will be necessary to consider other passages to determine
the full extent of the nature of this outpouring of the Spirit
and its ramifications for today
B. THE PROPHECIES OF ISAIAH...
1. One recorded in Isa 44:3-5 (ca. 750 B.C.)
2. Elements of this prophecy include:
a. God pouring His Spirit upon Israel's descendants - Isa 44:3
b. Connecting the promise of the Spirit with the figure of
water given to him who is thirsty - cf. Jn 7:37-39
3. Another prophecy that might relate to the promise of the Spirit
- Isa 32:15-17
a. Found in a section that appears to have Messianic
implications - cf. Isa 32:1
b. The result of this pouring of the Spirit: justice,
righteousness, and peace - cf. Ro 14:17
C. THE PROPHECIES OF EZEKIEL...
1. One recorded in Ezek 36:26-27
2. Elements of this prophecy:
a. God promises to put His Spirit "within you" (an indwelling)
b. It will cause (enable) one to walk in His statutes and keep
His judgments - cf. Ro 8:11-13; Ep 3:16
3. Another prophecy that might relate to the promise of the Spirit
- Ezek 39:29
a. A prophecy that looks beyond the captivity and restoration
of Israel
b. One that might not have been fulfilled until the coming of
the Messiah
D. THE PROPHECY OF ZECHARIAH...
1. Recorded in Zech 12:10
2. Elements of this prophecy:
a. The Spirit of grace and supplication to be poured out on the
inhabitants of Jerusalem
b. Prompting people to look upon Jesus whom they have pierced,
and mourn because of Him - cf. Ac 2:32-37
[Whether the prophecies of Ezekiel and Zechariah have reference to a
promise that would be fulfilled in the age of the Messiah may be
questionable, but certainly the prophecy of Joel and Isaiah demonstrate
that God promised an "outpouring" of the Spirit in a special way. We
now consider...]
II. THE PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
A. THE PREACHING OF JOHN THE BAPTIST...
1. He spoke of One coming who would "baptize you with the Holy
Spirit" - Mt 3:11; Mk 1:7-8; Lk 3:16; Jn 1:33
2. While he himself administered a baptism in water, there was One
coming who would be the administrator of a baptism with the
Holy Spirit
3. The promise was made to large crowds; only in its fulfillment
can we determine its full extent
a. We know that it is somehow tied to the events of Pentecost
in Ac 2:1-4
b. Because of Jesus' comments in Ac 1:4-5
B. THE TEACHING OF JESUS CHRIST...
1. The Spirit would be given to those who ask the Heavenly Father
- Lk 11:13
2. The Spirit would be given as "living water" to all those who
thirst and come to Him in faith, and drink - Jn 7:37-39
a. Might this "living water" be "the gift of God" Jesus alluded
to earlier? - cf. Jn 4:10-14
b. Note again the comparison of the Spirit to water in Isaiah's
prophecy - Isa 44:3
3. To His apostles, Jesus promised the "Spirit of truth" who
would...
a. Be a Helper, and abide with them - Jn 14:16-17
b. Bring to their remembrance all things Jesus taught them - Jn
14:26
c. Bear witness of Christ, together with the apostles - Jn 15:
26-27
d. Convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment - Jn
16:7-11
e. Guide the apostles unto all the truth, including things to
come - Jn 16:12-13
f. Glorify Jesus, by taking of what is His and declaring it to
them - Jn 16:14
4. Jesus told His apostles to wait in Jerusalem until they
received the "Promise of the Father" - Lk 24:49; Ac 1:4-5
a. Which He clearly connects to the baptism of the Spirit
spoken of by John
b. In which they (the apostles) would receive power, and be
eyewitnesses - Ac 1:8
C. THE PREACHING OF PETER...
1. On Pentecost, Peter ties the outpouring of the Spirit to the
prophecy of Joel - Ac 2:14-16
2. Then, in the course of his sermon, Peter...
a. Speaks of the outpouring of the Spirit as a promise Jesus
received from the Father - Ac 2:33; cf. Ac 1:4-5
b. Offers the gift of the Spirit to all who repent and are
baptized - Ac 2:38
c. Says the promise is to them and others - Ac 2:39
1) What promise does Peter have in mind?
2) What promise would have immediately come to mind to his
hearers?
3) Would it not have been the promise he just alluded to?
a) The promise received by Christ, and now poured out by
Christ - Ac 2:33
b) I.e., the Spirit which Jesus Himself promised to
believers - cf. Jn 7:37-39
c) "That we are right in referring the word promise, in
this sentence, to the promise of the Holy Spirit just
made by Peter, is evident from the fact that this is
the only promise made in the immediate context."
- J. W. McGarvey
d) "For the promise... - Of pardon, and the gift of the
Spirit." - B. W. Johnson
e) "Acts 2:39 shows that the gift of the Holy Spirit is
to all, Jews and Gentiles, who accept that call of
God." - David Lipscomb
CONCLUSION
1. In this study we have seen the following...
a. Old Testament prophets promised a special dispensation of the
Spirit to come
1) One that would include the manifestation of special gifts
2) One that would enable the people of God to keep His will
b. John and Jesus promised a baptism of the Spirit, administered by
Jesus
c. Peter in his first gospel sermon...
1) Proclaims this promise to be fulfilled with the outpouring of
the Spirit - Ac 2:16,33
2) Appears to offer the Spirit as a gift to all who obey the
gospel - Ac 2:38-39

So then, when you (Christiendom) say that Jesus is the 'Son of God', is that synonymous to 'Prophet of God'? if he the prophet being referred to in Deutronomy, then would you say the concept of Son of God is not unique to only Jesus Christ the Messiah?

Christianity would never cease to exist because it is founded on Christ, the Son of God. This GOOD NEWS of the KINGDOM would be preached to all the inhabited Earth and the end will come.
The True God himself gave a testimony about his Son during the Baptism of Jesus to fulfill all righteousness.
Jesus said, for God so loved the world that he gave his on begotten Son so that whosoever believes in him shall that not perish but have Eternal Life.
During the transfiguration, God spoke saying this is my Son listen to him.
John the Baptist said of Christ. The Father loves the Son and has given his spirit without measure.
Jesus himself said, men ought to honor the Son even as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him(Son).
Jesus says whatever you do, do it in the name of the Son, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Peter said unto Jesus, you are the Christ, the Son of the living of God. Jesus said unto him blessed are you bar Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal it unto you but my Father who is in heaven.
Every true Prophet of God has to know that Jesus is the Son of God. Sunday school children even know this.
One can choose to believe it or not. Our Faith is not empty belief, because we are challenged to be sure of all things, and the Lord prayed that we may know the Truth, for the Truth will set us free from deception.
Think of the numerous people who have died without acknowledging the Son of God! This is the time to make amends.
Jesus indeed says, no one can come to him except the Father draws that person to him(Christ).
Yes, the things of God are free, but they are not cheap. The one who created us knows those who are serious, and who acknowledge that they need a Saviour. The Life that God has promised is in his Son, and in know where else. Everyone has to cleaned and cleansed, and the one that does the cleaning and cleansing is Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us. It is a promise, but you have to appropriate it in your Life.
We are all creatures of God, but we are all not the children of God. A child of God id the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God, in holiness, righteousness and obedience to the Lord.
The Truthfulness of the Gospel is beyond debate 2nd Corinth 10:4,5.
Paul gave a prophetic warning that if anyone comes to you to present a Jesus different from what has been presented to you, even if an angel, let him be accursed! And the people around 600-700 AD should have been knowledgeable and equipped enough to debunk anything that denies who Christ really is.
Nevertheless, it is not too late. You can make this day count by hearing his voice.
I pray that you come to a point when you say I believe, instead of saying we believe, because on that day it is you who has to answer to the True God.
