So just as you CHOSE to go for that U.S. Visa and bought that plane ticket to America, you also can CHOOSE to go for a Visa to Heaven or Hell, its your CHOICE, GOD don't decide that for you. What God does is He shows you WHERE both THE OFFICES of the Heaven and Hell Embassies or High Commissions are on earth so you go there and APPLY for your Visa. The OFFICE to go to to apply for Visa to Heaven is JESUS CHRIST, 1 John 5:11-12, John 14:6, Romans 10:9 The office to go to to apply for Visa to hell 'is all other means but JESUS'. So it is possible to know whether you're going to Heaven or Hell, It's determined by the visa you apply based on the CHOICE you make.

Fortunately, the ticket is free and the aeroplane, the means of transport to Heaven or Hell is death. In other words until Jesus comes to meet us alive, the only means to Heaven or Hell is by dying so people MAKE YOUR CHOICE.

While it is impossible for the living to validate such an assumption, the Bible in no uncertain terms, assures us that, "the living know that, they will die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they anymore a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten (a state of unconsciousness).
Ecclesiastes 9:5

Job asks the question: " if a man dies, shall he live again?" Let's allow Job to answer his question.
"all the days of my appointed time will l wait, till my change comes." Where will Job wait till his change comes? the grave, of course--one place the living bury their dead.

But one may wonder if the Bessed Virgin Mary, and the Catholic saints are not in heaven! There are no such records in the Bible that they are. Let's allow the apostle Peter to tell us what he knows about what happened to King David after he died.

Let's make a choice for Christ now, while we can think clearly, and have the power of choice. Our present breath is guaranteed, but not the next. God did not bring man to the earth to be unconcerned about life after death. Just as the world in the time of Noah failed to head to the warning of God the same will the coming of Jesus be. The hell fire is waiting for those who will not repent and accept Jesus.
