The problem in Ghana now is the education of the rural folks on how to choose the right people. They constitute a bloc, and the military or armed forces constitute another bloc to change govt. If Ghanaians want change, in civilian rule, only the rural folks hold the trump card to choose a leader...hence Mahama using Chiefs as conduits to win votes. Psychological, the rural folks do not know dynamics in governance. Further more, they are not aware that they are the KING MAKERS. Without education they "perish" after they been decieved with "bentoa","kruwaba" local water closet in the night, and commodities, only to be forces to pay high taxes through transportation...high fuel prices and big, huge, external debt for their children.
