Sarkodie exposes VGMA organisers Charterhouse; gets Shatta's backing

Award-winning rapper Sarkodie in a series of tweets today has revealed misdealings and confrontations he had with organisers of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards ahead of the event slated for Saturday.

He started off with the tweet: "Charter house always trying to play smart on Us smh...Everyone benefiting off entertaining but the entertainers".

With a screenshot of Sarkodie's tweet, the "Dancehall King", Shatta Wale, who has been banned from this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, asked Sarkodie via Facebook: "Sarkodie if there's is a problem please talk oooo....Gh artiste ...Speak up".

Sarkodie's urge escalated and italized below are his exact words on Twitter as he narrated his encounter with the event organising house to his fans.

Sarkodie explained that he isn't fighting for awards but to make things easier for the future generation. He then talked about the disrespect meted out to him by the organisers when he requested his name be taken off the VGMA promo to avoid being blamed for not performing since Charterhouse was not ready to pay him his worth.

He explained that what got him angry was the explanation they gave for running the promo which they earlier swore to have pulled down; making him sound stupid.

"Now they got back saying they sorry and got two options for me...wow!!! U did wrong and now giving me options??...Either they compensate or pay for the amount I quoted...Wow!!! So was that a contribution in just some minutes or you had funds for that," he added.

I got a call in the states that promo running on Yfm still that I'm performing... Called them and they were swearing on graves
