Did you not know that "religion divides"? Just look around and count the various religions and what they believe in. Each religion has its holy book and they all have a Dead Mystic, whose teachings they are scrambling to interpret. The unfortunate thing is that it is only Living Mystics who can understand and interpret correctly the teachings of these dead mystics. The people who are insulting you do not understand or know that all the mainstream religions use the word LORD to describe these mystics who were able to attain ONENESS with God and therefore could link their human spirit to the spirit of God to receive the Word of God. Even though Jesus taught that We all are capable of doing what he did, we do not believe him. When Jesus again taught that the Kingdom of God is within us, we do not believe him. When he again taught that seek ye the Kingdom of God and all shall be added unto you, we do not believe that too. In fact the so-called Christian today, believes what these supposed men of God, who are not Mystics think and say. Or else why will they insult you. Is this the way Jesus reacted to people who did not agree with him or did not believe him? What do you see at most of these churches on Sundays? They teach worshippers to use the blood of Jesus to destroy their enemies, even though Jesus did not teach that his blood should be used to destroy enemies. In fact Jesus prayed to God to forgive those who were crucifying him. But what do we see today? They are the Anti-Christ. They are the ones not following the teachings of Jesus the Christ. When Jesus was asked who a neighbor is, he used the example of the Samaritan who was of a different religion and culture to illustrate his answer. So if these people who are insulting and threatening you with death really understand the teachings of their Messiah / Savior Jesus, they will behave differently: they will show the way in Spiritual Civilization. Spirituality is what UNITES not religion. Religion divides. It is precisely because of this that Jesus taught us about the fruits of the flesh versus the fruits of the spirit. If you identify too much with the flesh you will always discriminate and differentiate: black vs white, male vs female, ugly vs beauty, Akan vs Ewe, short vs tall, etc. But as Jesus wisely taught us, if you identify with the Holy Spirit, you will exhibit love, humility, forgiveness, etc. This is because the spirit has no tribe, race, sex, height, color, etc. So you see why spirituality unites and religion divides. When the Mystic dies, it is left with the rituals that people scramble for. Don't you see that being practiced daily these days. Rituals, rituals, rituals. Read the Bible and pray for God to give you the wisdom to understand his word.

But on a more serious, I am bothered that people who see themselves as Christians will choose to insult another person who does not share their faith. Don't think Jesus will be proud of that. I rather think Jesus will ask Christians to pray for unbelievers and sympathise with them bcos the god of this world has blinded their eyes to the truth.

Yes, Jesus is your spiritual master. So practice his teachings. Jesus did not teach that He be worshipped. Jesus taught us to practice his teachings and if you were practicing his teachings you will not hate and insult.
