Every FM radio station must have two different types of news broadcasts. The first must be National/International news and the second must be local -- restricted to only events in the local district, Municipality or Metropolis.

People don't even know where shops are located or what is going on around them.

We must hasten the transition to digital radio.

Finally, the great musician is getting the recognition he truly deserves. His music controlled the airwaves (especially GBC1 and GBC 2)for some 30 years. A highly competitive musician who really promoted guitar band music to dizzy heights in late 60s to mid-70s, and remained among the best that the nation could offer through 1993. I salute the great Nana Ampadu and the African Brothers Band International. I never forget the "fearsome", "three-some" guitarists...Nana on lead-guitar, Senior Eddie Donkor on rhythm guitar, and Joe Dee on bass...ahh!!! Akom ko...

Thanks for the recognition but I believe Nana Ampadu needs to be recognized by our universities in the promotion of music and African Philosophy in Ghana.

We had the CK Mann/Paapa Yanksons,the Onyinas,the EKs,the one thousand-Alex Konadu,Jerry Hanson and THE Ramblers,The Agyaku/Yamoah's Pat Thomas,Master Akwaboah,ET Mensah and King Bruce (Those 2 pionners introduced highlife music to Nigeria,Dr.K Gyasi,AB Crenstil.All these Gallant Musicians put on musical map.But, Nana Ampadu was like Ghana,s version of either these Musicians,thus, James Brown,Bob Marley or Michael Jackson,or otherwise the African Brothers Band was Ghanas answer to the Beetles.Nana's Musicen encompass every sphere of Ghanaian Culture,social and political norm.African Brothers Band the lendary Osofo Dadzie drama group and the late"Santo".I wish Nana all his in original recordings instead remixing because I have about 4 CDs African Brother Band which doesn't pocess it unique originality.I therefore suggest the organisers of the award to producing Nana's song in original form on CDS for sale.Songs like tribute to Nana Prempeh the 2nd,Edin ne ne Nsabrane,Awereho mu awereho,Maame Adwoa,YEN MPANIA ASA,Me mpenna ne Yaa Donkoh-medofo ne Maame Yaa e, and etc etc.
