Book long, Office conditioned Ghanaians and other Africans - this is a great lesson from the UGANDANS.
I remember advocating that the Chief Farmer of the town I was teaching in be the Grand Marshall of the Farmers Day Parade instead of the Headteacher. I was chastised and ridiculed by my fellow teachers since the Headteacher had always been the Marshall. Being the Agricultural Science teacher of the School, I insisted and threatened to discourage my Students from participating in the parade if the Chief Farmer was not made the Grand Marshall. The Students and I won and the Grand Marshall of the Farmers Day Parade has been the Chief Farmer of the town ever since.
We have a long way to go in deconditioning ourselves from the KRAKYE (educated) mindset and face life in its reality. President Jimmy Carter, a NUCLEAR ENGINEER, is still an ONION FARMER in his Village even after being a PRESIDENT of the greatest Nation on Earth.
THE ONLY SHAME IN LIFE IS THE SHAME OF HUNGER AND BEGGING IN THE MIDST OF PLENTY.
Congratulations Miss Uganda. Please tour the rest of Africa and be an inspiration for the new mindset of the NEW AFRICA.

All the blessings are buried in the soil
(ground), which we don't want to dirty
ourselves with. Burkina Faso has noticed the secret of Agriculture; and if we don't change our mindset about Agriculture, very soon we will be buying pepper from these nations.
