Which English are you talking about? Do you mean that HORRIBLE GHANA "TWI-GLISH?" How can Ghanians teach Naija good English when we have produced many world class literature giants like Wole Soyinka, a noble Laurette, and Ghana is yet to produce just a good professor in English language? Don't even get me started with that horrible Ghanians accents e.g. pastor=pasta, dollar=dorra etc.

We need a progressive policy. All adverts in Ghana must be created by wholly owned Ghanaian businesses and the songs and celebrities in the adverts must be wholly Ghanaian. The celebrities and musicians must receive royalties. All the wholly owned Ghanaian entities must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB.
We must move into the era of music as a service (MAAS). At least 7 out of every 10 songs, movies and TV series played on our television stations, radio stations and entertainment centres must be wholly Ghanaian and must be produced in Ghana. These stations and entertainment centres must pay on a monthly or annual basis royalties to the Ghanaian artists. The amounts paid must be reasonable taking into consideration the profits of the entertainment establishments. However they must not pay any money whatsoever to the foreign artists because of the negative effect it would have on our GDP. The Ghanaian artists must use wholly owned Ghanaian banks like ADB. Many people can recall great shows like: By the fireside, Ultimate paradise, I told you so, The road to Kukurantumi, things we do for love, Akan drama with obra and co, home sweet home, Dr Paa Bobo´s songs etc
There is lack of will and this must change.

I have never seem stupid fools as Ghanaians ever on the soil of Africa. Fifi, its only Ghanaians who'll pride themselves with the attribute of the colonial British masters, amazing how colonial mentality still dominates the minds of Ghanaians in the 21st century. Fifi, you may be a young man I don't know but make an effort to ask your father who is the author of the Literature books he read to pass his 'O level' in his school days, he'll tell you those were Nigerian authored English and Litersture books. Again you seem not to have travelled beyond Ghana ever so I pity your ignorance about other African countries accents, other African countries including Nigeria that are far ahead of Ghana don't speak like the British yet they are more developed and enlightened, richer and resourceful than Ghana. No wonder Ghana makes so much noise about Black Stars cos there's nothing more this country has to show for being first to attain independence. Others have gone pass your rhetorics, no wonder Ghanaians resorts to insults and unprintable language whenever they find their back against the wall in an argument. Shame on you Fifi.

Fifi how old are you for this craftness of yours, you are very clever in twisting history to suit your ego. Fifi where did you get this your lie lie information from. How can the size of Nigerian film industry account for the quality of products it churns out. If Ghanaian films are better than Nigerian films; how come Nigerian films are the most prefered by Ghanaians and even Ghana television stations shows Nigerian films all day. You Fifi rather don't tell the truth to your compatriots Ghanaians.

It is quite refreshing to hear these liberal comments from the actors themselves that Nigerians loves to avail themselves to something new and don't necessarily despice competitions as is the case in Ghana. There has been incidents in the past when Ghanaians deliberately mounted a campaign to stop Nigerian films from being aired or banned outright from entering Ghana. Currently there's very serious agitations of Nigerian music taking over the Ghanaian airwaves with a subtle efforts to discourage radio stations to play less of Nigerian music. It is very clear from the comments of these Nigerian actors that these ate not the attitude of Nigerian towards competitions especially when it's coming from Ghana.
Nigerians in the past have shown love and given friendly receptions to Ghanaians in the 80s & 90s when millions of Ghanaians migrated to Nigeria for survival and life sustenance. Unlike Ghsnaians today who resort to hate and despice everything Nigerian; Nigerians use competition to aspire for perfections and greatness and that's why you see so many successful Nigerians doing very greatly in their life endeavours. Nigeria does not have to shut the doors to Ghanaians in order to be successful as is the practice in Ghana where everything foreign or Nigerian is frowned at. This same attitude of hatred for everything foreign led to the 1969 aliens compliane order which Ghana eventually suffered economic downturn in its immediate past implimentations. We live in a globalised world in which Ghana is forced to depend on Nigerian gas for its energy needs or buy crude oil from Nigeria at very considerable long credit periods; so let no Ghanaian think the blockade or hatred for Nigerians will amount yo additional wealth inyo the Ghanaian pockets, rather it stifle developments and progress in the Ghanaian life. Nigerians from experience have come to accept the concepts of free market economy and that's why Nigerians are so successful with the richest and largest number of billioneers in Africa.
Hope Ghana will learn from the attitude of Nigerians to work freely in an enviroment of competitions as these noble actors are advocating and have accepted Ghanaians into their ranks. The Ghanaian attributes of insults and raining of unprintable language to people they disagree with stifles innovative ideas and gives no room for developments. Kudos to these Nigerian actors and their open mindedness to healthy competitions with their Ghanaian couterparts.

Movie making is a business that demand much creativity, constant studying of the marker and constant market strategy. The producer will like to use both Ghanaian and Nigerian actors and actresses to create a broad market for his or her movie. If we can feature Hollywood actors, you will be amaze how Africa movie producers will be running for them. That will create another huge market for your movies. Look, the movie producer is producing to make money not for the love of the industry. So, the producer will do anything for his or her movie to sell. Likewise the actors and actresses, acting is their business, their mean of survival. So, they will go anywhere their service is require. Moreover, they are adults and know what is good for them or not. Please avoid this kind of issues, it may generate unnecessary hatred. Some people are ignorant about the business. Even some actors and actresses don't know the kind of business their in, to able them to think and make the right choices. If they start falling, they will turn to blame their counterparts for invading their industry. God Bless Ghana.

Its amazing how Ghanaians want to benefit from free market economy in one breath where Nigerian Banks invests billions of dollars in the Ghanaian economy thus provide jobs for thousands of Ghanaian families, but turn round to discourage competitions in the entertainment industry as well as other economic activities. Ghanaians hide behind some obnocious laws to discourage free competitions in the commercial activities as though Ghanaians don't do same in other countries. Competition is healthy and that is what the Nigerians are preaching to Ghanaians by the positive attitude of these Nigerian actors not to shut doors anybody including Ghanaians.
Alomo bitters alcoholic beverage produced in Ghana for example has found favours with Nigerians during occations and celebrations thus benefiting from free movements of goods and services within the West African sub-region, equally so is Agbeve tonic doing well in Nigeria; helping to solve 'kooko' sickness among millions of Nigerians. Ghanaians should not pick and choose cos that'll amount to double standard which is not a mark of integrity. Ghanaians should know the reasons that draws the rest of Africa to prefer Nigerian films and music is the internal competitions which Nigerians have embraced in a long time with the resultant quality products that comes with it, which Ghanaians rather see as a threat to their own development. Thanks the Nigerian actors for showing the way to go, not rather the Ghanaian style of blocking everything foreign or Nigerian.
