  Did he ever joined Osibisa? Somebody help me with this. If I cast my mind back growing up as a kid, I saw Bessa with Wantu Wanzuri which became Wuta Wanzutu and finally a split that birthed Dutch Benglos. All these groups were stationed at Tema El Paso restaurant, where I listened to them rehearsing on week days after school. But for Osibisa, oh well.

  Osibisa regroups now and then for gigs and talented Ghanaian musicians like Victor Mensah and I beleive Bessa who lived in London at the time were recruited for their gigs since Osibisa is no more a group as such but comes together when the situation calls for.That means making use of available Ghanaian musicians.Bessa was in London as one of those talented Ghanaian musicians so I would believe he played Osibisa and so did many top Ghanaian musicians.Is it gig for the boys?

  Oh Boss these bands I mentined were not tooo long ago. From the days of Bisa Goma to Wantu Wanzuri to Wuta Wanzutu to the Dutch Benglos spans between 1975 and 1979. By the later part of 1979, Benglos were in full gear and were about to release that hit single "Sweet Gloria". I remember all these because I was so close to some of the Benglos guys. Auntie Gloria her self was like a mother to me so no fears kwraaaa. Haaaaaa
