NPP Congress: Ohene Ntow declares support for Kwabena Agyepong

A Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Ohene Ntow, has publicly declared support for Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, who is aspiring to be the next General Secretary of the party.

According to Nana Ntow, the Former Presidential Press Secretary has all what it takes to serve the party in that capacity.

Nana Ohene Ntow opened up on his support on Friday, April 11 during an interview with TV3’s Thomas Addotei Pappoe at the Tamale Sports Stadium.

He said Mr. Agyepong has risen through the ranks, making him tried and tested to work out in returning the NPP back to power.

Nana Ntow mentioned that Mr. Agyepong rose to the extent of contesting to lead the party at one time. For the former General Secretary, Mr. Agyepong is the only person that can bring decency to the post he wants to occupy.

Four candidates are contesting for the second most important executive position within the party. Kwabena Agyepong, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Nkrabea Effah Darteh and incumbent Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie are contesting the position.

The winner will be determined at the party’s National Delegates’ Conference on Saturday.
