    She joined UN when her father James Gbeho was Ghana's ambassador to US and Kofi Awoonor was Ghana's ambassador to United Nations and JJ Rawlings was Chairman of PNDC.

    Don't forget that Kofi Annan was a one time UN Sec. Gen. There are lots of Ghanaians who have been UN and World Bank Reps for different countries, so what is so special about this appt.?
