Let me get this straight: no noise making by the churches, maybe no noise from overhead airplanes. These guys literally want to gag the whole city to appease their gods. Only in Ghana.

We all know what our constitution says about association. Why should the Ga State impose ban on drumming and expect christian to also observe such. This act of impunity must stop.

Thanks to Akans in general and Ashanti/Kwahus in particuler, you dirty fools have a place to put your stupid heads.

Please don't make comparison to the Asantehene's declaration. There should be no funerals in Ashanti during Otumfour's celebrations. No restrictions on Church, Muslims calling or any sports activities. Its just funerals.

We need to ask serious questions about this sorts of tradition this tradition that in this 21st century. Are these people aware of economic implications of not keeping up with the rest of the country and the world as whole. Businesses in the affected areas need to compete with other businesses in the capital. Are they forgetting about the locals who benefits when there are events in these areas? Can they tell us how this ban benefits the people they claim to represent .
Many of these traditional practices were put in place because they took diseases, death ........and many things they couldn't explain as been a punishment from their so call gods. This is 21st century , we know how it rains, how people die from heart disease and so on. Let's sit down as 21st century people and check which those are benefitting our people and not playing the tribal cards.
