David Opoku, Raphael Dwamena, Patrick Twumasi, Gilbert Koomson, Kevin Tano ( may need nationality switch ), Abednego Tetteh and Kevin Prince Boateng are some of the big and powerful strikers we need to change draws to wins and defeats to draws. We won 2:1 in Zaire a long time ago to qualify for AFCON 1982 thanks to a big and powerful striker called George Alhassan. We won away at Namibia ( I'm not sure ) by 2:0 thanks to a big and powerful striker with good shooting ability called Prince Tagoe. George Alhassan could jump and compete with the Zairean defenders and scored 2 headers. If it were Majeed Waris or David Accam we probably would have lost and not qualified for Libya 1982 because of their small stature.

Kwadwo Asamoah is indeed a special player to the Black Stars. But he was not there when Ghana reached the AFCON final in 2015. It's rather Nii Lante himself who is spoiling the team with his actions and utterances.

This is certainly true!! We need some real footballers with experience. The recent crop are not so good. They have to be infused into the National team in a gradual process. Anyway, I would like to sound a warning to some of our players who do not have any scientific idea of a simple football. Warning!! Some of those footballers should give it a thought before their haircuts. How can you head an aerial ball with a "RASTA" like hair, especially, right on the apex of your head? The ball is round and when it bounces off that "RASTA" thing it feels like a cushion with no impact.The force of your head to the ball makes a big difference. This is just a thought and advice to some of the players.

The whole Ghana and the Black Stars have to forget about the WC and not even think about it and concentrate on the AFCON and prepare very well before we get disappointed by our group opponents.
