As professionals making the kinds of money you make, playing for the national team is not the place to make a fortune. Honorarium is what you should aim to get. However, you players with your greed and selfishness chose to expose Ghana to world-stage ridicule in Brazil. There are professors and other professionals who take their sabbaticals/leave to go to Ghana and do pro bono work (i.e. free of charge). And you Ayew, paying for some of your colleagues to travel to Accra was for cheap popularity -- any professional player playing outside the country who cannot afford their airfare to fly to Ghana is USELESS! You guys need to accomplish something major and change your demigod attitudes and behaviours... that would be a first step toward appeasing Ghanaians whom you have taken for granted for a long time.
