First of all, I salute the captain of our national football team for his dedication, devotion and the good work he has done for our country's endeavours in search of universal glory in the the game of soccer as the Americans call it. This is a boy who brought life to our football after Stephen Appiah and need to be respected. However, he need,nt be told that no king reigns forever. Soldiers go, soldier come and he must respect this saying by accepting the fact that he is almost getting to the age of retirement after serving his country and making much wealth from football. All what he need to do now is to retire on good note than lowering himself to a second division team in England. This is not good for our national team. We cannot afford to retain a dead horse playing for a second tier as our national football team captain. We have many new talented goal poachers who can deliver the goods in his absence as our national team, s captain. My only advice to him is to accept the fact that retiring with good name is better than disgracing himself and our country as well. Please take my advice before you are reduced to the rank of Agona Swedru Fankobaa player.
