That's not the case here. You hire a coach because you know yourself that you cannot coach the team. The coach, based on his experience, monitors all players and makes the best selection for the national team. Any interference on his job constitutes a breach of contract unless it is made as an advice, which he is not obligated to listen. Every coaching contract has that level of autonomy built into it. The minister can fire the coach for no cause and pay all the legal obligations involved but he cannot order the coach to do something that's not part of the contract. I can bet that this minister is just blowing hot air. He can never fire nobody within the GFA or the coach just because his stupid tantrums are ignored.

there is a sayind that 'if you don't even like the antelope, you will definitely have to admire its running' I may not like the style of the new sports minister, but on this matter I agree with him 100%. the constant and persistent use of foreign players for the black stars have not helped our national league or to say players in our national league strive to achieve excellence. it also have a negative influence on our players who play for the junior national teams. this is as a result of the fact that these players realise until you ply your trade outside the country you will never have a chance of featuring for the black stars. therefore when they get the opportunity to play in the junior national teams, instead of playing as a team, each individual tries to show case his talents in order to attract scouts and win contracts abroad which hitherto affects the total performance of these juniors at international competitions with Ghana becoming the loser.

FIFA Rules & Regulations are also quite clear in this matter.

The Football Association is INDEPENDENT of the State and the State has no control in the affairs of how the Football Association is managed.

FIFA will be within it's rights to either suspend and or expel Ghana from the Association if this Nii Lante IDIOT does not seek proper legal advice and go ahead with his BONKERS plan.

Avram Grant is also within his rights to resign and seek CONSTRUCTIVE DISMISSAL from his employers thje GFA if they allow this buffoon to carry on interfering with his job.

This crazy bnastard does not know that a Coach constantly needs to test the readiness of his team to he coaching methods especially when they are not locally based and scattered all over the place.
