My only advice to both Dauda and Kotoko is to go slow. Please, do not rush Dauda to sign a foreign contract. I'm aware of the fact that the league has no sponsor and the teams are hard pressed financially. Dauda also might be yearning to play abroad (greener pastures), but if he can hold on for at least one more year in the league, he will gain valuable experience. He will be a better player after about one more year in the league. It will benefit both Kotoko and Dauda in the long run. He will fetch his team a better sale price, and the player will get a better contract abroad. Of late, players from our league have been rushed into foreign contracts only to fail to make the mark. They were good players, won the MVP or player of the year but could have benefited from a year or two stay in our local league. The latest of such players was Augustine Okrah. I predicted on this site that he was too raw for Europe. He was a good player but needed a little bit of polishing. Please Kotoko, lets go slow with Dauda, he is a gem. Thanks for the space.
