  GFA or the Ghana league board should set up parameters about the minimum monetary requirement one had to have before owning a team like they do in USA.

  GFA or the Ghana league board should set up parameters about the minimum monetary requirement one had to have before owning a team like they do in USA.
  
  In USA before somebody can own a team, the owners of the other teams and the board governing a particular sports like NFL will scrutinize the one or group of people trying to own a new franchise or buy an existing team. They make sure that the person trying to buy a new team or acquire existing franchise has the financial ability to operate the team.
  
  The problem with Ghana league is that anybody with a pocket change and a ten year old private car with hardly any assets like Alhaji Grunsah with few hundreds of cattle can own a team when they don't have even 500,000 new Ghana cedis in their account as a minimum to pay Players earning 500 cedis a month.
  
  I think anybody who wants to own a team in our Premier league should have a minimum of ten million Ghana cedis or $3.5 million in assets with at least $1 million in cash.
  
  If it means we had to have ten premier teams in our league with sound financial base, so be it.
