It seems the media had been brainwashed. I have stopped listening to them and they are also the reason our kids want to play outside our shores. The media need to change their mode of broadcast. Period.

Why blame the media. We don't even know when the league is going to start, because of court cases, when other leagues have long started. How can such a league be attractive.

Oh my MP, you are totally wrong. Blame GFA, GHALCA etc. Journalism is a business. Ok let's put it this way; when the league starts, let your radio station broadcast it free and let other media houses follow .

You know guys, The media has a roll here and they are not living up to it. I understand the GFA has to be blame but how do we hold them accountable with out the involvement of the media? Instead of them ( Media) bring the bad nut out of the GFA they are rather busy promoting individual players for their own selfish interest. There are jobs that needs sacrifice from those who render them. Media is one of them therefor before if person chooses to become a Journalist they should know what they are getting into because we the ordinary people depends on them. The Media should be focusing on our local league and help the GFA to promote the league and make it attractive to the people again. If the league is attractive, it will attract investors and we will not have to chase them for sponsorship instead the opposite. I remember those days when Kotoko, Hearts, Olyi, or any other team are playing, the stadium will be full to capacity and everyone will tune their radios to the channel that will be broadcasting the game live. What did the GFA do different? I believe it was the same media doing their job well in collaboration with the GFA. Foreign Media contribute a lot to their local league. They pay to broadcast, they pay to interview coaches and players this help promote their league. Our media just need to step up their game and stop feeding off from the success of foreign media by broadcasting foreign league games. If our sports journalists had followed the footsteps of their predecessors, the local league by now could have been in competition with some of these foreign leagues. As Ghanaians, we need to learn to promote our own products because we are equally good.
