Rahman's recoveries
Baba Rahman won possession 10 times
– more than any other player – while

Indeed, the sight of Rahman bursting
forwards in his bright pink boots was a
feature of the game and his overlapping runs
helped buy space for Eden Hazard ahead of
him.

I keep telling folks in here that is Baba was able to keep up with Frank Rebery, Alaba, Phillip Larm, Arjan Robben and the rest, what made you think he would have had a difficult time with players in EPL?

Baba looked quite lovely going forward but was sloppy in defence.A few bad passes when the score was 1-0,would have been punished by a better team.Good luck.

Why are Ghanaians dwelling so much on trivialities and unnecessarilly praising Baba Rahman's debut for Chelsea. The comments coming through smacks a feeling of worshipping mediocraty than appreciating the fact that Baba Rahman is just like any other payer on the line up. Are there no African players playing for top European clubs or who have played at top levels of European football and why this baseless focus on Baba Rahman. Michael Essien played for Chelsea at the top of his career and was only able to go on loan to Real Madrid and AC Milan as a surplus player at Chelsea whereas, other African players played not only for Chelsea but Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City etc. without playing on mediocraty of any kind you find Ghanaians engaged in; in the case of Baba Rahman. What extra pride does a player playing abroad bring to a country that taunts itself a football nation and, yet we jubilate so endlessly when we manage to pull a drawn game with Germany or beat an average football country like USA. This mediocraty must stop.

Saudiq or whatever. Did you see the match? I don't think you did. Or you are somebody who doesn't know much about football. Or plainly you really don't know what you are talking about. Or you are clearly one of the nonsense talkers on this forum. What has Real Madrid; Germany, Barcelona and Michael Essien have got to do with Baba's performance. Whether you like it or non Ghanaians who are sensible will continue to give praise to Baba for getting into a highly competitive team and performing well. I think those who have serious personal and mental problems will think he performance was mediocre. Big Shame on you Sadigue.
