Some fella was highlighting whether it was possible to honour this match today. It appears he was absolutely spot on. Shoddy preparations; unavailability of players and so on. Why not play this friendly after the competitive game against Rwanda as this smart contributor was suggesting? Now if this friendly is to test the readiness of the players then the objective is failing: now we are instead testing players who are not going to participate in the competitive game proper. Ghana and the GFA appear to becoming too complacent.

They should have planned a friendly against and East African team after the Rwanda game. If they were going to play this game, use a different line up with the likes of Adomah, Kwadwo Poku, etc...and see what they can do. Now we are going with a partial team and Congo will be taking this game very seriously.

What is your problem? We have a coach who is showing us that he is not a stubborn old mule and takes constructive criticism seriously. That is more can be said for our leaders.Fuck off and let the man do his job.

how were these players chosen? Are they the best in the league? Just hanpicking a few meteors is not the answer to the coach's disregard for the local league. So he could not monitor back up from his long stay abroad but now picks FIVE more local players? Now we have 8 local players on the squad to be trimmed down.

These are his choice and will be responsible for the way they perform. It may not be the most visionary choices but it is a beginning.

Where is the information on this friendly? Preparation seems a bit disorganized.

Yes, I think that is a good call up because it is friendly game and our locals and youth can use those friendlies to gain more experience. Our local league will get stronger.

Yes, Hearts of Oak and Kotoko players should also be given a chance in our friendlies us well. The more we invite Kotoko and Hearts players, they will start doing well just like in the 1970s and 1980s.
