This is the reason. Ameterpe did not allow Hearts to sweat for their victory as Kotoko did. He two dubious calls one a penalty, the other a free kick close to the penalty box both against Abeiku Ainooson. This was his "gift" for Hearts and good riddance the Phobians could not convert either of these. The referee became jittery and guilty conscious after both occasions to the extent that he failed to make genuine calls for Hearts on occasions that could have earned Hearts a goal or two. Kotoko naturally were incensed by these acts of injustice and lifted their game to such a crescendo that belied their position on the league. See the Kotoko captain for me the man of the match alongside Hearts 'lion hearted' Foovi Aguidi, who reminded one of the late Shamo Quaye. The Hearts No 7 was also a delight especially in the first half when he was rampant on the left. Anyway for me, the best match between Hearts and Kotoko, and neither of these deserve to be relegated. But a word to Ametepe, allow the game to travel its natural cause, don't try to assist any side, they may not need your assistance for their victory.

I watched in disgust as this man ran about trying to influence the match.The GFA need to set up clear tier system to sieve through referees.Bad officials like Ametekpe must be pushed down the teir to division 1or 2.

If Hearts go on relegation that will not be the end of the world but attendance will be poor at games and Kotoko is going to miss Hearts because it will be a very low hyped soccer environment.
