It was way too early for him to be appointed to that position. Hwas not prepared, woefully inept and thin-skinned. He had issues with his best and most experienced players except for his personal favorites. He ruined the team that had been tipped after WC 2010 South Africa to shine brighter in Brazil. I am convinced tat if we had stayed with Stevanovic after Gabon/Equitorial Guinea AFCON2012, we would have shown wonders in Brasil.

Educating only the Captain of the Black Stars sounds stupid to me. I think its about time sports men and women in Ghana be sensitized to consider adding some higher education to their chosen carriers before they are considered into the various national teams.
Come to think about the fact that various sports men in other prominent leagues are subjected to interviews immediately after games are played or during recesses to talk about their experiences in the games and so forth.
These players are able to express themselves boldly to the admiration of their fans. African Players in general except a few are able to do that and are always caught pants down. Please I will suggest that it doesn't start with only Asamoah Gyan after all he is not going to be the captain for ever. it should encompass all. Education should be a pre-requisite for every sportsman who want to compete for Ghana and with that they can fit into the elite teams when they go abroad as professional and Ghana will stand to gain, thanks everybody.

And I am certain that almost all our Universities and colleges in Ghana offer leadership and management courses. Besides, he can take it anywhere in the World including accredited online courses with major universities (i.e., Strayer University in the U.S.
To me, I don't think it's only Asamoah who should have this leadership courses. I think most of our so call leaders (i.e., Parliament, minister, local / national administrators, etc.), need it too.
