He's going around saying he's the on,y who can do the job at the moment and people are supporting it. Well there u have it. In the past Ghana teams have done far better. These days it all about the black stars and even the black stars is full of mediocre players languishing in Sweden, mls, Russia, norway English 3rd division South Africa. These are the countries were our elite players are playing. Imagine what the kind that would be left at home: kanzo paa

Hmmmm the best man to govern Ghana soccer at international level is the worse man killing our local league structure.
Are we going or coming?

It may be true that our league is not doing well, on the other hand I also think most African Countries/Teams are doing well and better as compared to those days Kotoko won their Cups. Even look at our Black Star team, take our players one by one, which of them is playing a high competitive soccer or is much regular and reliable in their team? We need to be realistic and stop depending on our past glory. We don't have a strong or fearfull Black Stars like we use to, things have changed in Africa soccer. No country in Africa fear Ghana anymore, look at Senegal, whipping Ghana back to back.

You can't entirely blame Nyantakyi, the economy they are operating in is also not doing well as such players are forced to move outside to make a living just as Odartey taught them.Gone were the days that players play for fun.

The deep causes of the retrogression of Ghana football should be found and the appropriate solutions found to uplift the level of our local clubs. If they are competitive enough they should attract foreign nationals to play in our local clubs. How many of our stars found their way in passing through foreign clubs like in Tunisia. But how many Tunisian Stars have found their way in passing through Ghanaian clubs? Are there any European players in our Ghanaian local clubs? I leave it to the specialsits to find the reasons and the possible solutions. Good luck to us all and never say Die!!!!!!!!!!

What did Ghana senior team win during your time? The under 16 squad that won the world cup were over aged and hence cheated.

The problem is the economy, money and the GFA. Soccer is now big business now that is why Man City,PSG, Chelsea have come on the scene. We don't pay our local players enouggh to retain them in the system .The North African teams,TP Mazembe have the resources to maintain their talent and recruit foreign ones. The econmy does not enough big Ghanaian corporates to sponsor cubs to keep top stars.Name which big Ghanaian owned company is around. The oil compnies, mining companies, telcos, banks are mostly not GHanaian for them to invest in our sports.MTN for example spobsors soccer big time in South Africa their host country. Due to the globalisation of the world we need new ways to get fans to the local league matches. This motivates the players much better instead of the virtually empty stadia for most matches. We need stakeholders to meet and find workable solutions to the local league.

The problem is the economy, economy, economy. When people are not doing well economically, they spend less on entertainment. When people spend less on entertainment, in results in less money goes to the teams. Consequently teams cannot pay players good money.
Effectively, players turn to seek better pay, better living standard outside the country. Just as we all make our outside Ghana.
Tunisia, South Africa are able to pay players well so they attract more Ghanaian players. This means any player who hits a higher form leave our local league.
Since Ghana's economy is managed by incompetent Leadership, everything slides down; and football is another prospect that suffer.

Please get the corrupt politicians to sponsor colts leagues and start reserve leagues for the Premier League. This will improve the talent coming through. GFA should find ways to promote the local game.

I will liken this to our days in the secondary school. The pattern was, anytime the school excelled academically, our sports guys performed excellent at the inter colleges. The parallel here is, our economy is in the hands of people who don't understand SQUAT, and this has permeated every aspect of our social lives. Well, every Ghanaian from the youngest to the oldest have seen the results of bad governance. It's not magic when other countries are doing well. It's hard work and having the right, sensible, Ghana loving citizens to manage the country. Not these CLOWNS with simple minds unable to understand the complexities of macro economics. Ghanaians should simply STOP voting for THIEVES!
